Doberman puppy owners - track your weight gain here

I have seen that big blue rubber stick at all the pet shops but never bought it. I’d be interested in knowing how it holds up to the Dober chompers.

I hate to go too far off topic but we've had one for years and it still looks like the day it came home. That said, the dogs don't care for it either. LOL

When I got Jack at 6 months he was 65 pounds with his ribs showing a lot and a very thin lil snout, he looked too thin. A month later a normal feeding schedule (his old owners fed him once at 6am and once at 6pm and he was pooping liquid) and exercise had him rising from 70 to 75. 8 months 85 pounds and the vet says he will be 100 pounds healthy by 1 year old lol. You can check out my posts of videos/pics of him, he isn’t fat. I def need to measure his legs. They’re an inch or two short of being longer than mine.

Rubie had lost some weight when we got Moo so we've increased her food to 3.5C per day and don't usually cut back if we're going to be giving her training treats so she gets extra.

She weighed 66.6lbs yesterday. Glad to see she'd gained about 4lbs and I absolutely had the vet put that weight on record

Ramsey has been with me for 6 weeks. I haven't kept great records other than I know in my head he gains roughly 3 lbs each week. At 13 weeks he was 30.5lbs at 14 weeks he weighed in at 33.7 lbs.

I'm not sure what you mean there. It can be as simple as getting a notebook and weighing your pup weekly to write down notes for the date, age and weight of your pup as it grows. If you look at the first page of this post you can see my notes for our dogs when they were pups.

I need to start charting Gretel - at least when I do get her weighed - she's smaller than most, evidently. When she was born, she was 4th largest out of 8 puppies - smack in the middle, but after the first week, she was second smallest and stayed there. I guess she preferred the automatic, internal feeder from her momma!

I usually weigh on Sunday. I can't wait to see her weight tomorrow since she has been on primal freeze dried raw chicken formula for 1 whole week.
I've always thought she was underweight, but we have battled diarrhea and tapeworms. She always eats good and she has always gained with the exception of the first few days in her new home.
