In the last pic she looks healthy. I think the other pics are misleading due to lighting and flexing. She just needs to grow up and add some muscle and she will look great. Great job keeping her at a healthy weight. :thumbsup2:

    8 weeks- 4.6 kgs/10.1lbs (infected with giardia:()

    10 weeks: ~7.54kgs/~16.6lbs (finally gaining)

    17 weeks: 13.36kg/29.3lbs

As usual, slowly but surely putting on the weight, but still under the norm for a female dobe her age. She's shooting up in height though.

He seems to be tapering off now and putting on between 0.5-0.7kg a week rather than the 1-1.5kg in previous weeks.

Met an 11 month old male dobie at the dog park on Sunday who was much smaller than Charlie. I’m guessing he really is just a big boy as everyone keeps saying.

Vet is happy with his physique, so I’m happy too.

He is starting to try and assert dominance with other male dogs now though. Wondering at what stages others have given their boys the ✂️, if it helped and any tips for how to overcome this in the mean time?

Everywhere I’m reading and people I’ve spoken to just keep telling me, “It’s a phase”. But we don’t want it to become learned behaviour.

With this breed it's best to wait until they're at least 18 - 24 months to let them mature properly.
Keep a close eye on him if he's around other males and let him know in no uncertain terms it's not acceptable. This behavior doesn't really change after they're neutered so you definitely don't want him to get in the habit.

Ok so I've got my weight by week wrong but Grumbles is definately 22 Weeks.

    22.4Kg & 600mm high

This equates to an average of .15Kg / day and 2.6mm / day over the whole of the 22 weeks. I'll fix the dates for the graph but that's a minor,

She looks fine to me and she's probably in a lanky stage. She probably won't grow height wise much any more but she will keep filling out for a while yet.

@Snoops - She looks great! Very healthy. Remember that you may be seeing a few ribs from inhaling, and thats ok! A fit person will look very similar.
