How old is your pup? Most of us keep posting until they're done teething (about 6 months) but they all vary so some take longer. They won't be straight up all the time since they're very expressive with their ears but you don't want them to flop or droop at all.
Any photos?

I like to go three days up and a day down if they are standing good enough to last a day ..you just have to watch and decide how strong they are..you may only be able to leave them down for a short time depending ...when you see weakness it's time to rewrap. Current pup's ears are really strong so 3 days up and 1 day down works well ..I wrap them up before bed. I would say around six months hopefully if they are long I have wrapped for 9 months with breathe right strips towards the last to help make sure the tips are strong. ..Photos? Here is Joe at 14 weeks.

Beautiful !!!!

Prefer a straight crops with tips that curve in just a tad. Usually about jaw length.
We in Canada and to find a hospital to do ears cropping sooo hard , nobody wants to do it , so we have no much choice , unfortunately , we got not what we ask for, but nothing to do now!

Ears are looking good and he's a handsome boy! I would go ahead and keep posting through teething since that is the time where they can weaken and droop. By 6 months you can start thinking about seeing if you're done posting through.

Thank you!! I love my boy sooo much !!!!
That you love him is what counts the most! :) Beauty is for sure in the eye of the beholder and many would disagree on what is the perfect crop. I know many places in Canada it's now against the law to crop and even to dock tails! I will have to go back to see his photos ..if you don't mind try posting full image..my bad internet has a hard time opening the images! :)

I like him very much..a great looking pup...My Doberman Max had shorter ears and they where gorgeous..The style are mostly longer now but I still like the shorter ones as well and it looks like they have a good shape so when he's grown I'll bet you will like them really well and he's going to be gorgeous! If your worried keep posting for a bit longer until you have no doubt of them being completely done..that way the ears will look their very best. My first Dobie I believe we stopped a bit too soon and so one ear was always a bit weaker and didn't not stand as well as it should have..better safe than sorry. :)

Rediculos !!!!his ears supposed to be shorter , with no pointy ends like that, but now is ok for me as I happy at least to be able to made a surgery for him!!!!:) just to keep doing posting and we will be fine!!

You wanted them shorter? It's good they are not shorter because some people mix up the correct crop style for Dobermans. Any shorter and it would look like pitbull or bulldog ears which doesn't look good on a dog as elegant as this. In the olden days, military Dobermans had very short crops. We did not post Kaiser's ears ourselves but it looks to me like you need to pull up on the tip when you post.

It supposed to be medium -short crop and i have a pictures of his father's ears which is perfect for me, and i give them a pictures but they screw it up , and more of it, as they made one end point different than another one!!! and i don't want them to be at all!Now this pointy ends going to different sides and it bother me :green: Well, in the beginning it was sad to see it , but later i start to think that it make him so special and different))):woot2: he still my lovely boy))):ninja:

It was my Dobe who had issues with the strangers......they pushed her buttons daily!
