Meet our first foster fail.

So Tarra has become Cinder. My DIL has a sister named Tara so she wanted desperately to change her name. Not to mention my son didn't really care for the name for her. So Cinder it is!
She is settling in nicely and seems to be over the moon about her new family! Pics coming soon!
Great name! Fits her!

Gotta give credit to both my son and the shelter for her easy translation. The shelter does a GREAT job with the dogs and cats they have. They are wonderful about evaluating dogs as well making sure they are ready for a home. They even make sure the dogs at least basic training and socialization before allowing them to be homed. They work with Purina Farms and the the trainers of the Purina Incredible dog team to make sure the dogs have the best chance of finding and staying in a home.

It fits all around. My son is a big outdoorsman and spends lots of time around a campfire. So they put names like Cinder, Ember and few others in a bag and somebody drew Cinder.
