Change may be coming to the compound.

I was thinking the same thing Tropicalbri wrote. He seems to be content.

Sorta looks like she has a little mohawk.

Mohawk!!:) :thumbsup2:I might steal that...Mo has got more zippers than one of Michael Jackson's jackets....nose, one up each hind leg and one on each side of his neck. I've been told the zippers are strictly a Euro thing.
(Don't know if that's true, tho.)

Mohawk;)
This is Rocky’s mohawk, it appears whenever he see’s something he’s not sure about, doesn’t like and/or that he should probably dismantle. :)

Sometimes, depending on the critter it’s more defined and runs almost to his collar.
Look like a black Rhodesian, lol.

That's a heck of a zipper!!

Kinda like his own "hey..somebody needs to help me check this out" warning system!! :)

Mo's neck zippers get really pronounced when the hackles are coming up
Son says it's his fighter jet flaps...setting up for launch.

If Bogie ever gets a Mohawk, you need to find somewhere else to be. He is not one to hair raise unless it’s serious.

Bacall on the other hand will get one all the way down her back if she sees something or if play with Bogie is escalating. She can become a quick snapping little bitch when the hackles go up.
If Bogie starts a Mohawk just at neck while playing with Bacall I intervene immediately because he is ready to get serious.

Interesting. My first boy almost never got raised hair at all. Second, pretty predictably as one would expect. Oji? VERY active hair. For instance, being out in the cold causes a mohawk (which seems like a bad feature).

I posted a pic of Mo's zipper nose in the random photo thread....it's the only one that really shows up in pics. Lost count the people who have asked if he's had surgery on his nose...cuz of that "scar" that runs up the middle of it.

The more I see of Millie the more I like her. She seems to be one of the gooduns!!! Able to cope with things and a quick learner. You have really hit the jackpot with a good fit for Rocky too, and he does seem very content. :)

Soooo, lol.
Someone is an early bird.
Ohhh Dark thirty every morning.

We are working on the drop it command, lol. She’s up to about 45-50% success rate there:D

Rocky has his moments where he is just over her and goes out to sun.
Other times he’s instigating her to play.
I think he’s getting a little frustrated because this new lil bitch is fast!
And, she’s a bit sharper than he’s used to.
I dare say Millie is a bit more “Doberman” than Rocky, or Daisy was.

It’s interesting that some times he becomes really possessive of a toy, yet other times he will let her literally take it out of his mouth and walk off with it?

His muscles are a bit sore at the end of the day but he seems to have good spring in his step after a nights sleep.

I’ll say, she is at about a 90% success rate at ignoring the yippy lil :censored: Scotty that lives next door.

Her first afternoon here she heard him pop off and growled, barked, and charged the fence and jumped up and punched the fence with both front paws.
Some correction here and there and her observations of Rocky completely ignoring him, has her adjusting quite well.

It took Rocky about a month of work to ignore that noisy lil shit. :D

She’s going to learn some hard lessons apparently.

One of them is not pouncing on Rocky from behind when he’s not looking.
He was standing there looking in the back door window to see what was going on inside.
Boy he wasn’t happy about that!
That would take ANYone by surprise~! I reckon I'd probably snap first and ask questions later too! :rp:

Rocky enjoys going out back and laying in the sun in the afternoon when it’s cool outside.
The Princess... has found the coveted secret spot.
Up until she came home the Purple Couch was off limits to dogs. Period.
After, we found Rocky up there a couple of times in the evening to escape the little tornado and have some peace.
The wife saw it and shrugged and finally gave in.
I think her words were “He’s earned it”

I love your fiddle leaf. It’s gorgeous. I guess the dogs leave the live plants alone. Have not gotten there yet = mine are all faux.
