Change may be coming to the compound.

Well, it looks like Rocky has given his seal of approval! Had to have a giggle about the loud Dober play in the early hours.

Rocky approved.

She’s gone a little snarky on him a couple of times today.
He’s a button pusher.
She reminded him while she is smallish, she is still a :dobe:

Edit..
Enjoying the sun. It’s been cool here.
She probably is enjoying it more.
This was part of the drive home from where she was.

This pic was as she was in her back acting a clown.

Rocky, ever the button pusher pushed her buttons. She was, in this pic getting ready to roll over, jump up and snarl, gnash teeth, bark and tell him to :censored: Off! in Doberman language.

I think that pillow behind them had something to do with it. She had been playing with it just before.
That and Rocky nose poking her in the belly and hoo hoo while she was belly up. :nono: She had every right to go all Doberbitch on him, lol.
He learned from it me thinks.

They had a really good day overall.
No real altercations other than an early morning Rocky being a bully incident and the belly up scene.
Smoother than the Daisy/Rocky first few days for sure.

This has filled my heart beyond belief.!

I can’t wait to get daily updates of this dynamic duo! Daisy would totally approve and waking up your daughter... that just grabbed my heart.

Looks like she’s finding her feet, Gel. I’m thrilled for you guys
I love the pic of them both in the garden enjoying the sunshine. Beautiful!
Looking forward to more pics and stories of these 2 :dobe:!

She slept on Sam’s bed last night, lol.
She makes herself right at home on beds and whoever may be in them.

Sam sent me this one this morning.
She’s tickled we have a snugler in the house again.
Rocky has never been a snuggle bug.

She’s figuring out her boundaries.
I suspect she had none in the past.

One of those boundaries is she IS NOT! allowed on our dining room table to steal laundry from it.

Red handed! With a bra in her mouth, lol.
Then, she didn’t know how to get off.
I ended up lifting her down.

It’s a bit of a wake up call here. Apparently we are slobs! And Rocky has us completely spoiled because he doesn’t steal laundry or hats, or gloves, or shoes.
All of these things she has stolen in the past 3 hours:D

She’s the first dog we have bought a crate for, and it looks like she’s going to need one until she learns the ropes here.
Fortunately she is comfortable with it.
We’ve not really used it yet, but it’s there in case we all need to step out at the same time.

I am lucky my twins grew out of the chewing on or grabbing laundry, shoes, etc.
The one thing I have not been able to get a grip on is Bacall grabbing paper towels and eating them and Bogie with the damn rocks. Now he usually will bring them to me. Bacall will show me the paper towel if I am home and will drop it for me but... if I am gone and she finds one then she eats it. I finally got a small countertop waste bin with lid for the paper towels and have reduced the amount we use by at least half. Also put scat mat on counter and in front of kitchen trash can when I leave them here alone.
I bought a Food Recycler Composter for the food we would usually just put in the trash. Once full it takes a few hours run time to compost the food then I can mix it with my soil to use in potted plants or front garden beds.

I’m sure you Dobe people are familiar with the term zipper nose, some Dobes get a colic on their fur along their snout.
Millie is a zipper neck. Clear to see in the above photo.
Sorta looks like she has a little mohawk.
