Looks like we will be going back up the hill tomorrow.
A couple of pics from today’s visit.
And yes, we are on the diving dock.
She had No fear. Walked right up to the edge and looked down and around.
And yes. That’s a bit of snow remnants in the background.
She seems very affectionate.
She has serious focus.
We walked her around and she was so focused on the smell in front of her on the ground as we walked past the fence post she didn’t notice some of those posts were horse legs.
When the horse took a step she was startled, jumped back a step. Then again, No fear, stared and smelled and looked and I think kinda wondered, lol.
She’ll need quite a bit of leash manners learned. She has sit and down pretty good, especially if she thinks you have food. So, food driven. Check!
Considering all that was going on I think she handled it all quite well considering her past limited socialization.
April was in the midst of full on training when we arrived. She had several clients/dogs there running the agility course in the snow and slush.
It looked fun! Cold on the feet! But fun.
Millie really wanted to meet some of those dogs, especially that Dalmatian guy running the course and that other Doberman with the pointy ears!
We might make some runs back up here to get her some manners and some sports going. They have a barn hunt area too, so lots of options.
If she can swim dock diving would be pretty fun.

that the intro goes well.......she doesn't look like there's much inner bitch but not fearful is great!

Looking forward to hearing how her personality develops and all the funny, and not so funny, stories that arise. Especially waiting to hear how she reacts when Rocky makes his first squirrel sighting in her presence.
She will probably think it deserves her input too!
