Well, Annie is in heat again. And as I was telling
@JanS I'll be counting the days till she gets spayed!
First, I wasn't even sure if she was
in heat. Except for a lot of swelling there was no spotting. Just a milky, mucus type of thing that I would see hanging around. LOL I even questioned Jan if she thought she was in heat.

I never had an intact female before so this was all new. I suspect that she
was from the swelling but with no actual blood I was wondering how you even count the days or know when it started.
In any event, it finally started. And Friday I was gone all day garage saling and my husband came home at noon to take care of all the animals.
Well, when I came home about 3:30 I was greeted at the door by Annie wearing a torn panty and no liner and blood drips on the floor! Annie! What did you do? I texted my husband who was out in the barn cleaning stalls. I finally saw the liner by the back door all torn up.

I put her out on the back deck with a bone while I went downstairs on my sewing machine and just tried to Jerry rig it together.

It seemed okay but some of the elastic was torn. It fit her but probably not the best . By morning I was woken up with a paw in my face

and Annie with nothing on her!

And no linear to be found. Really?

Annie!! I got out the other panties that I bought that don't fit her tail. But it was the only thing I had while I washed the other one again. I still haven't found the liner.

I was at wits end and so ready to spay! Sorry, but this is not fun. Now I'm afraid to leave her alone. Or even overnight!
Obviously she was chewing at the other panties too. Ughhh!

Since the vet I'm using to spay and Tack her stomach is usually booked, I'm calling Monday morning and setting up a time for next March!
