Congratulations!!!
That's kind of Phoebe when I take her into the ring myself. "Mom is that you out here with me? Let's do all of the things we've worked on except stacking." LOL
It didn't help that they almost missed her class, caught up trying to help someone else and both literally ran into the ring.
So I'm sure that amped Ripley up. Don't you love it when they try so hard and try ALL the things? 
Ripley and Paula Hall did it again today in Monroe, MI for 2 1 more points!!! Ripley is now sitting at 6pts 5pts
They both had a stellar weekend! Win photos to come.
Edit: only one pt... one person picked their number up but then didn't come ringside to show and another didn't show up period so the 2 pts broke.
Sister Saylor was there too today. Ripley could smell her in the back of their van and was whining to see her. Once she came out they play bowed and both started smiling at each other

This litter must be big smilers since Phoebe is the biggest smiler we've had. And I thought Della had them all topped.Once she came out they play bowed and both started smiling at each other

Speaking of Ripley, I actually came upon a Youtube doberman video yesterday (one of those montage videos that shows clips from other videos), and I could swear that one of the clips featured a doberman named "Ripley." Not sure how old that clip is or the video itself, but it was there.
Do you have the link? I do know there is one other Ripley on instagram but I believe its a male and he's got ears and a tail and lives in Scotland
So do I. I wish I could get a photo or video of it but I haven't yet. She was grinning real big at our trainer too when we walked past them at the fall show.

Baby girl This weekend was a memorable one as Ripley received high remarks from a breeder judge, and another breeder, who have each been in the breed for over 50 years. Truly, truly honored such nice words were spoken about her and to us, novices to the fancy. I made sure to let her breeder know and to give all the credit to since she produced Rip. You hear all these bad things about dog shows and the people in it but there are those that truly care, and they will take the time to reach out. Ripley's handler also won back to back BOB (and a Group 3 on Sunday), WD/BOW and WB with her client's dobes that weekend!

Big 4 day show over the weekend at the Old Fort Cluster in Fort Wayne, IN with 65+ dobes entered and 4 and 5 point majors all 4 days for both dogs and bitches!! Ripley placed 2nd twice, 3rd once, and 1st on the last day, in a large and competitive Ambred class, yipee! The final day she and one other were cut out for winners and sadly Rip was only pointed at for the reserve win. BUT it is her second reserve to the major win, which is awesome at such a huge show. She's getting closer every time. We were all rooting for her to pick up one major this weekend and the last day seemed to be her day as the judge really had her eye on Ripley. Oh well, we're going to enjoy the rest of the year off since the next show we'll have a puppy! And he's a bit too young just yet to go to shows.
Ripley showed like a rockstar all weekend. We finally were able to work on crating indoors since the show was held at large event center (so it wasn't like it was really quiet in there to begin with). I've mentioned that shes a drama queen crating at shows the first day since most of her life we were forced to do what they called "show n go" and had to crate out of the vehicle. She whined a little in the beginning but learned that made us walk away. She quickly caught on that whining = us leaving, quiet = hot dogs, and did so good the rest of the weekend, whew... By the final day she was glad to go in there to take a nap.
I know these posts get repetitive and tiring, they are tiring for me too... I'd love to share more wins and just be done
but its all a part of the journey and there's still some small amounts success in the process. Plus, then I couldn't share pics with everyone!
What better place to proof down stays than in the middle of a dog show, in the main aisle, at the entrance?
Derek got a chance to handle Ripley once the entire weekend. Paula had 6 dogs she was handling and the dog that lives with her comes first so in he went with her to winners! (I look at this pic and almost think its not my dog)
Waiting ring side and ready to go. Ripley learned she has to work it if she wants whats in Paula's pocket.
Her face shes making at me... "Do I get rewarded for being confident? Yes, yes I do, Mom."
I can count on my fingers the number of times Ripley has leaned on someone.
She loves Paula so much. Ripley gave her kisses after this
