Didn't see him in person, spouse did. Spouse just said he was big. Which could mean anything. Never asked the breeder because size was not a factor in selection. The breeder did say they expect him to exceed 100lbs.

Yes, he will be left intact. He was pick of the litter and will be available to his breeder should they decide to use him. Even so, there is no benefit to neutering, so my males are always left intact.

He's definitely going to be a big boy, I was really hoping for a normal size. He can no longer fit in a 500xl crate, which means he can't get on a commercial flight here. Stuck on the rock unless we travel by ferry, and the state has cut ferry service to our town, so trying to get him to dog shows is looking bleak. He's knocked me down a few times jumping on me too and his big brother Butters, has become his little brother...

Anyone want to take a guess at what he'll top out at? Height wise I'm thinking even if he's at 90-95% of his mature height, that would be somewhere between 29-31+

I had no idea he was only 7.5 months so I would guess about 30" and 105 - 110 lbs.

He's pretty big boned, his wrists, i.e. front pasterns are 6" in diameter, and his chest is already 35.25", so I'm thinking 120 minimum because he still has so much more growing and filling out to do and he is mostly European. But idk...appreciate your guess!

Pretty much all of our male Dobermans kept filling out until they were 4 so he has a way to go. Height wise they were done at around a year but the rest of the maturing comes slow and steady.

Yep. Adding a photo of a different angle, just in case anyone was thinking he is fat....he's lean, not fat, just to the point you can't see the ribs protruding.

Honestly that's where i like to keep my dogs, and what i like to see in any dog. I don't mind if i see a little rib if they are in a curved stance with the outside curve towards the sun. He looks great IMHO
