I don't think so at all but it does look like she's going through a growth spurt where her rear end is higher than the rest of her body. I'm sure she'll balance out nicely but it makes me crazy when they're growing and going through these stages.
I'm going to do the same! I doubt there will be a big difference like in the beginning.

I found this thread reassuring, so I thought I would add to it in case it might give others peace of mind. Our last dog & her current older puppy brother are / have been male Great Danes, so there’s also that to help throw the eye off
Don't forget, Olive is still a baby! She is on the smaller side but if she's like her aunt, she'll weigh more as she matures. Ripley weighed in at 71 lbs today when she's been around 62-65lbs most of her life. She has really thickened up after having two litters and now 4.5 years old.12/27/24 - (21 months) - 55.6# (vet scale)
It's not hard to spot her ribs, even though she is curved towards the camera. Im not saying she is under a good body condition. I agree with bumping her food up slightly though. At Katyusha's last yearly the vet pegged her as a 6, which i agreed with, but she also said leave her at a 6, because as a therapy dog, people will tell me I'm starving my dog, and body condition 6 doesn't really adversely affect health, but is fine for avoiding the "your dog is too skinny" conversation. Just for what it's worth.
Are you using a bathroom scale to weigh the holder & the dog then subtract the holders weight? The best way to save your back is to get Annie to jump on a chair, couch, bed, platform - something close to waist high - then pick her up from there. Have the scale close by so handler can just walk a step or two with her to weigh. I can easily pick up Asha from a platform table used in training, but not at all from the ground. She stays between 66 & 69 lbs, but I haven't weighed her in over a year now.
Based on pictures of Annie, vs. what i see here at home with Zastava, who is 64 pounds now, (we weighed her at the pet store yesterday kind of at random, she was squirmy but that seemed to be the average squirm number) I'm going to guess you'll see 75 if not more the next time she's on the scales. I'll be excited to learn! Excited to get and share Z's 11 month weight around the middle of the month, too.
