Disclaimer - A squirmy pup does not make for an accurate measure, take height as a rough guide.

Is there anyone here that would like to try to create a spread sheet (excel doc or similar) with all these pages of data?

I have tried using Google Docs Spread Sheet, but i just dont have to know how to work with these types of programs efficiently.

Wow, Ozzy looks nice and trim for weighing that much! I really need to see if I can get Hubby to hoist Albert up again to get his weight now that he's over a year too. I'm guessing around 90# or just over though.

Is there anyone here that would like to try to create a spread sheet (excel doc or similar) with all these pages of data?

I have tried using Google Docs Spread Sheet, but i just dont have to know how to work with these types of programs efficiently.

I started one almost right after this thread was started (and before another board followed suit), but it will need tons of work. That's what I do for a living, so making the spreadsheet in Exel is no problem at all, but getting the data sorted through will take time. ;)

I've been quite busy lately, so I actually forgot to update. Anyway, it turned out Ashra did have worms again, then she went into heat for the first time and wasn't eating very well so she dropped a kilo... bleh. Good news: when I weighed her today she's the heaviest she's been for a long time and I've noticed she's starting to get her muscle mass back so I HOPE *knocking on all the wooden objects in my apartment* that means we're finally done with the parasite crap and that going through her heat gave a boost to her immune system or something and that she will keep the weight on and keep gaining, especially with her first show coming up next weekend !

Face of shame (yes, I had to pick a bright and colourful pair of panties for her haha)

Won't or can't stretch his back legs out for a stack? I ask because often dogs in need of a chiropractic adjustment will have problems standing properly in a stack.

Sorry Jess I didn't notice your comment.

Well he can when he wants to but I haven't trained him to stay in a stacked position so as soon as I get him looking good, he moves his back legs. He does have angulation in his hind legs it's just hard getting him to stay still in a good pose, here's a pic of him showing his angulation.

We were discussing this in another thread and it would be interesting if everyone checked into this thread to post their puppies weight and age. Of course all dogs vary, but I thought it would be a good way to keep track your your own pups weight and see how they compare with other pups their age.

I scanned my notes (scribbles?) of Boris and Della's puppy weight and it's interesting how small Boris was compared to Della at the same ages, but he really started gaining at the 5 - 6 month mark, and I don't think Della is going to have spurts like that.
As you can see, she weighs over 10# more than Boris did at this age.

Anyway, here's what I have to date and I hope the rest of you check in regularly to post your pups progress as well.

Hi, Zeus wieght was 71 lbs and 25 inches in height at 7 months old.

On July 9th I took MaximusII into the vets for shots, nail clipping and he weighed in at 90 pounds. I don't want him to gain any more weight. Doesn't look to be that heavy but he's all muscle. I don't want him turning into Clifford and keep growing. :)

Mark:
Great pic of Ozzy, but he looks to be about to launch himself forward, so he is squatting a bit there which gives him more angulation than would be seen in a proper stack. You can see he is bending at his hocks to leap forward for that sleeve! He is focused and great attention to that sleeve! He has turned into an impressive figure of a boy at her year mark... He could and most likely will trim down a bit if you keep working him as he is and be at a more 'working weight' at probably around 10 lbs less than he is now... He still has his puppy thickness to him in his mid section and his rib cage. If you were to put him into full scale work mode, he will most likely lean up a bit...
I still feel that He is more than likely as tall as he is going to get and I guessed him right on the money and I am also going to predict that between now and when he is around 2.5 yrs old he is going to lean up a bit...
He has no rib outlines visible and this is still just his 'puppy bloom/glow' to him.. he is still intact is he not? He is not neutered?
If not then he will get more tightly pulled together as you keep working him and I am going to guess that he matures at the height he is now, but he will actually weigh less... he could easily be around 10 lbs leaner as a working Schutzund dog because the ribs should be visible slightly.. the last 3 ribs near the waist line start to show up as they mature and lose that puppy bloom weight.
His head has turned out to be so very nice and his ears look so great.. so nice and flat against his cheeks.... and his topline is lovely... his tail set just right and I love his gentle looking face when you see him straight on... it reminds me of Baba.. as Baba has that sweetness to his face. You would not ever guess he could be a 'tough guy' around other males.. but he has come 'into his own' recently and he does get a bit testy with other males who just 'turn on his maleness" for one reason or another!
The ozzster is a pretty damn impressive dude and the UK has a marvelous addition to the Doberman working world with him! Keep up that work! looking Good Dude!
