Belmont has had three very successful weekends out and started an amazing career at a very early age. At 4 months he took Best Puppy In Show at a puppy fun match. His first weekend out at 8 months he took Reserve Winners Dog one day and Best of Winners for a 4 point major another. His second show at 9 months he took Winners Dog again for his second 4 point major. Currently at 9 months Belmont is sitting at 8 total points with both majors under his belt. Quite an impressive start. He is handled expertly by Kaylee Cloud and her sister Erin Criqui. Very proud of this boy and excited to see where he decides to take us.

Next show is May 12-14 in Topeka KS.

Wow I totally missed this, but he's so awesome and tearing up the ring, which is no surprise!
He shows the best of both his dam and sire so I think he will go places big time.

Thanks for your kind words! He is such a little showman in the ring and such a good boy at home. These babies have been such a joy to me in so many ways.

RWD again in Topeka. Nothing more to report. Due to CIV in our area, we have pulled Belmont from the shows later this month in Oklahoma City and Ottumwa Iowa. His health and the health of my other dogs is more important. Looking to start showing again in August at a two week long cluster in Topeka Kansas. Will keep everyone posted.

Right now he is working on his cute factor and enjoying learning Nosework, Barn Hunt and Rally with his sister Aoife.

Sorry but what is this CIV?

Canine Influenza Virus. Nothing to mess around with because it can be fatal. We have had a few cases waiting on confirmation and 2 confirmed. Not good, the stuff spreads like wildfire.

Sorry but what is this CIV?

What Genny said. Lol. CIV (H3N2 H3N8) nasty viral flu. Seems to be currently isolated to dogs who show or compete, but sure it will venture out into society. Trying to do my part to supress the spreading
