He doesn’t take the best win photos and is much better in person
He is handled exclusively by Kaylee Cloud and her sister Erin Criqui.
Thanks so much! I am beyond proud of him! He has tremendous focus and high workability and excels at all I throw him at. Super smart, super cool boy. My “do it all kinda dog” Looking forward to his futureTo win these titles is a major accomplishment but
to be out of your litter and a champion x many titles?? Jeesh, you have to be SUPER proud!!!!
Thank you Genny for your supprt and saying such nice things about him. Love that boy!! Both Erin and Kaylee are fabulous girls and phenomenal handlers. They both make Bells shine. He loves them both, but he’s like putty in Kaylee’s hands. Lol. Makes my heart feel good that he loves his handlers so much! Bells LOVES Erin’s son and Kaylee’s daughter. They are inseparable when he stays with them. Kaylee has 7 week old twins Bells loves too. He wants to clean their faces too much, so his contact with them is limited. Lol.I for one was surprised at how beautiful he is in person. I already knew he was beautiful, but in person WOW!
I can't say much about Kaylee because I didn't see her handle Belmont, but Erin is a perfect choice for him.
She's so relaxed and Belly Boy responds so well to her calmness.
It was also pretty special to see how Belmont loved Erin's son. Whenever her son got close to him, Belmont would almost melt.
He was posted until he was 8-9 months. He has a 6” show crop with thick ear leather, so I was very lucky he wasn’t posted longer. His two littermates were both posted longer. One of my girls was posted for 22 months. Long show crop with equally thick leather.Boy, he has some thick ears- -how long did you post?
Two weekend ago in Lincoln, NE Belmont took back to back Best Of Breed. He didn’t take any group placements, but was pulled for consideration both days. So very proud of Belmont and his handler Erin. Whatta team.

Wow, thank you SO much! Belmont is very balanced and square, very elegant showy and flashy. He exudes breed type. He is just slow to mature in body, which is what costs him in the ring. He still looks puppy like compared to other Champions. He finished his CH quickly and at a young age which doesn’t help. Judges consistently tell me that they wanted to put him up for breed, but went with a more mature looking dog. I don’t mind that he is slow to mature. I’d rather have a slow maturing dog than one that matures too quickly and gets coarse looking. To my untrained eye... he looks perfect! Would you be able to explain why this amazing specimen wouldn't win everything all the time? What would a judge see that they would pick another dog over him? Always eager for an education!

Of course! He will continue to broaden in the chest (width and depth) and fill out in body. He will muscle out more and look thicker. A Doberman should look like they are poured into their skin. He is getting there, but slowly. Can you expand on this a little more?
Comparing Belmont’s show physique now to a seasoned champ.... will maturity bring rounded broader shoulders? A deeper chest? More of a shapely, muscular look? What does a mature looking Doberman have that Belmont does not have?
