Good girl, Ripley!
Congratulations to all of you! A very long day and night! So scary thinking you would have to pack up and run to the ER! Very traumatic! So glad for everyone that she pulled through on her own! 
Well, just like having your own baby, sleep will be hard to come by! Enjoy every second and squeeze in shut eye when you can. 
You'll need it to keep up your energy! Give Ripley a kiss from all of us!

This is amazing! They are so adorable with their little tan dots above their eyes, and Ripley smiling in that one shot. Overwhelming and heartwarming at the same time. Especially the weight gain after just 12 hours. Astonishing how they grow. All of you are doing great, keep it up!

Y'all are gonna get sick of daily puppy photos! 
Made it through our first day and now second day just fine! Babies are all thriving. Microchips and microchip registration has been ordered and paid for.
Day 2 everyone is continuing to do so well! We are all above 16 oz with our biggest girl yellow continuing to be a chunk at 18.65 oz. Thrilled because that means the littlest girl doubled her weight since she was born.
Tomorrow we start early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction!

Thank you! We managed to each get some sleep today by taking shifts. Ripley is so good for her first time. She's still figuring some things out but she loves them fiercely!

Loving seeing their daily development. The look in Ripley's eyes is beautiful!
It's amazing how motherhood works! The love for a child is like nothing else. Something just kicks in once your child is born. For Humans and animals! You can see it in her face.
She is all about those pups. Has she showing any protectiveness toward you guys handling the babies?

Not at all, she fully trusts us. She actually whines a bit when she would like some assistance when one decides to boot scoot to the other side of the box and she has a few attached to her, like "umm, can someone help please?"
We've kept Stavros separate from her and the room they are in for safety and bio reasons. Ripley doesn't even use the same yard to go potty in that he does. I wanted to give the puppies at least a week to take her colostrum in from the first 24 hrs for immunity. Stavros stuck his nose into the crack of the door one time and she immediately growled this deep gutteral rumble. Time to get back innocent boy.
Doesn't surprise me. Ripley sets her boundaries loud and clear!
