I replaced my sod twice with these pups. They made it look like a race track of mud with their running. Ironically I taught Bacall to only dig on command. I take her to jobs with me and she will help me dig up plants that died from the hurricane. Believe it or not it helps me out.
Nice! I had my previous two Dobes trained to dig on command. Oji seems to be somewhat an underachiever. But yeah, the example I always think of is my old friend and me standing around in a park drinking beer and having our dogs dig holes to bury the cans in the snow.

At our house it's a much loved water toy. We have a pond that is very popular with my doberfish especially in the summer. They do play with it on land but for whatever reason trying to sink it is much more appealing.

I did get an email yesterday and what do you know the Jolly Egg is on sale. Can't remember how much I paid for ours so I can't tell you if this is a good price or not.
Jolly Egg - Interactive Chase Toy

I can tell you we have the 12" one.

Is this somewhat similar to the jolly ball just a different shape??
I think the Jolly ball always has a handle so that dogs can carry it around. I believe it's heavier too and made of rubber? The egg has no handle and can't be picked up. I was looking at the ball at some point but some members mentioned the dog chewing off the handle.

Our Jolly Ball has lasted for many years too but it's the heavier duty horse one. They got the dog version for Christmas one year and it barely lasted a day. Huge difference in them.

This is ours and I'd guess it's about 10+ years old since it was the horses first, but he never played with it.
