This is what is so interesting... I'd have to go back and find it, but seems like Asha & Ripley were different weights as they grew up, but ended up very much the same. I looked at Ashas weight at 5 months, she was 47, but still topped out at 66 - 69. I think using the ziptie around the ruler we determined she was 25", maybe 25.5? What is Ripley? It would be fun to see a side photo of them both, head to head for comparison a few times until Trendy is over a year. Mother/daughter would be so fun to watch changes! Boys, they are a whole different ballgame. I know nothing. LOL.

Ripley at 5 months was 44 lbs so really... the same size as Asha. I had Ripley really lean as a puppy (like, could easily see ribs/no fat) because of her knuckling issues so she would have easily been 47 lbs if she wasn't that lean.

I don't have an official height for her, hopefully she'll be entering agility soon where she'll be wicketed but she is 25.5-26" unofficially.

I'll see what I can do, the best I have right now are stacked photos.

Interesting enough, but Trendy has been consistently on track of being a month ahead of Ripley's puppy weight. Ripley was 50.2 lbs at 6 months. I think Trendy will likely be in the 70-75 lb range when mature so we'll see if thats the case!


Edit: For fun, just weighed Ripley (she got the zoomies afterwards LOL) I'll try to get a better picture of her later. The latest picture of her standing I have is in Louisville a month ago and she could easily have shifted weight since then. Need to take Revel and Stavros out today for training.

Wow him and Elroy are still very close in weight. Elroy was 78# at his last vet visit in early January but he's probably in the lower 80's now.

And Trendy is almost as much as Olive is now. LOL

Edit: For fun, just weighed Ripley

Yeah, I forgot about her knuckling and you keeping her super slim. They probably would have been pretty close in weight if not for that. I was almost afraid that Asha would be oversize when I picked her up at 10 weeks and she was 20 lbs!!! I really did not want an oversize dog at all. At 11 months she hit 66 lbs and has never gotten over 69 since then.

Do they wicket for Open Obedience? Or is it only if something looks suspect? If Asha was 25" she'd jump 24", if she's a hair over it'll be 26" jump.

Thank you - I'm thinking of going on to Open once we get our CD. Currently jumping 26", so it doesn't really matter, but just curious about how it all comes together at trial time.

Probably not when they vary so much in weight at this age. She's going to be gaining steady so she might surpass some that were bigger earlier.

He's gaining more healthy weight and getting better by the day!. Sadly he's on treatment for demodex mites, and we have a long recovery road ahead of us full of antibiotics and medicated baths.

His "perfect" weight for his frame should be 80lbs as per the vets, he's getting closer



The hair loss you see is because of the demodex mites, it's not contagious at all so he's still living his best life running free and terrorizing his big brother.

I also tried for a height which is hard to get a puppy to stand still but she did pretty good and I did it twice. It looks like it was 15 and 1/2 inches. I'm not sure if that's on Mark or if it's high or low. You guys can tell me.
