Doberman puppy owners - track your weight gain here

Can't wait to be writing on this thread again :)

You might want to make yourself at home on the Naughty Puppy thread as well! I'm so incredibly jealous, but Jax and I still have work to do before we are ready. And...I just feel like I should rescue, but...I look at these puppies on their way to "us" on here, and it is pretty dang tough not to want that!...I even think I could post ears now!
On second thought...you probably won't even have anything to report in the Naughty Puppy thread...you have your crew in line!

It's gonna be awesome! I'm so ready for her to get to you! Between you and @GennyB my holidays will be fulfilled (if only vicariously!)
For some reason, I do have it in my mind that if I have a female pup in my future, she will try my patience (which won't really bother me) far more than Jaxie. When I think back, the ONLY thing that I stressed out about was....EARS!! Seriously...house and crate trained in two (ish) weeks, never a whiner/barker, no real gastro issues, etc. That HAD to be sheer luck!
I'm sure I've now totally hijacked this thread, so I'll stop after this...I am approved with the rescue that I most like in this area, so I think maybe I should let them know that I would like to hear of a little pup in the future, just to have that out there since it can take a long while for a pup to come through. (Of course, then I might not get my red head, but I have a feeling I'd fall in love anyway.) Since I didn't do my research with Jax, I kind of think I should "pay it forward" by rescuing.

She just gets over excited when she sees the treat. I get more jumping and pouncing if we go to class with no dinner. She'll rush the down command and keep her butt in the air .. that sort of stuff.
Yes ive had dogs like this. We had to switch to dog kibble or a squeaker toy, or something they weren't as hyped up for.

On the other hand, I've had ones who didn't care unless the treat was a hotdog or liver

Here's a good vid versus pics to show her size.
I was thinking I'd film her being good at bringing the toy back to me
Annnnnd of course, camera off? Did it without fail. Camera on? I know nothing.

27 month, 3 week old male Oji weighed in at 64.7 pounds at the vet today.

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: :machinegun:
Wow Tad Oji is just destined to be a sleek boy without any fat. :)
Bogie is already over 80. Yikes
Bacall is really starting to fill out and is catching up to him in height but not the build. She is a refined version with feminine lines.
She is at 70lbs.

We went to the vet to get monthly meds today, so I have new weight and measurements...I've never measured his chest, so I don't know if this is perfect, but...
14 mos.
87.5 lb. (He lost 1/2 lb. I guess...or cheated a little...wish I could cheat)
Height- 28"
Neck- 18.5
Chest- 34.5 (Does that sound about right for his age/height/weight?)

I rounded Bogie down to 80lbs because we weighed him on two scales. One was 82lbs and last was just a hair over 80.
