Doberman puppy owners - track your weight gain here

Apollo was the seconds smallest, now he catched up big times LMAO saw a 2 year old just two days ago and Apollo is same size like him and filled out better then the two year old :)
everybody ask me how old he is,when i tell them he will be 7 month next week, they can't believe it.

Faith as actually the smallest in the litter. The rest of them were pretty even except the two that were HUGE. But I think Fate and Della were about the same, Fate was different because she was so chocolate.

MB you have no idea, you should see Fate in person. She is so intense and so driven I cant keep up with her. I think she will do excellent in schutz cuz her attention is just out of control.

I've started keeping track of my pups weight, so I'll keep posting the results here!

What I've got so far:
11.5 weeks - 18.6 pounds
12.5 weeks - 20.4 pounds

Cirrus-that avatar pic looks almost exactly like one I have of my late Hope. Wow! Gave me chills. Your guy is a cutie for sure, I look forward to watching him grow. There don't seem to be many blues on the forums....but there are a few. Glad to have another among us!
Glad to hear Fate is doing so good. It makes me smile. And to hear she's going on to be a working dog makes me even happier. yay to all the survivors. I think parvo survivors should have a ribbon of their own, like the cancer pink ribbon. It really is hard to believe when they hand you back a bag of bones that's weak, sick &sad that you will some day have a "normal" dog again!

Yes, there should be! I've never had to go through this nor have I ever known anyone personally that went through this so the stories here are like a whole new world to me and I seriously give you guys so much credit! So much credit! It's costly, it's time consuming, it's exhausting, and of course so incredibly sad, so the happy endings are all the more inspiring! So yea, I'd say a medal, a ribbon, Some thing! would be apropo! :SwinginStar::champ:

Trojan weekly weigh-in, 18 Weeks and 55.7 lbs.. Another 4.7 in one week.. WOW...

To all you PARVO survivors out there, Life is good just look at your dogs in the morning and they will let you know how good it is to be alive... Nasty disease..

Wow is right So Cal... He's going to be a big boy...

Della - 8/17/09 (exactly 6 months) - 49#

So, she gained 7# from the 5 - 6 month range.

I guess I'm not the only one who checks height and weight all the time. LOL Niyah is 24" and just short of 60lbs. at 6 mths.

That ia one big boy and I bet he is real clumsy when he is growing so fast. They are fun to watch when they are in that clumsy stage, although it can get scary at times that they may hurt themselves crashing into things!!

Della - 8/25/09 (27 weeks) 50.5#

Wow So Cal, this is really interesting to watch your big boys weight progress. :)

I'm convinced it's the food (Deli Fresh, Calofornia Gold) and sure grow that have helped as well as his genetics, but when I purchased him he was Not considered a superior size dog by Kimbertal.. The way he's growing he no doubt will be at least 100/110lbs.. His bone structure is massive..

Went to the vet today to show her how Lexi is walking and getting along...weighed her...she will be 9 months in 10 days 61 lbs

Here's Dieter's weight gains.

11 weeks (5-9-09)--- 18.5 lbs
12 weeks--- 19.5 lbs
20 weeks--- 40 lbs
23 weeks--- 50 lbs
6 months (24 weeks) --- 53 lbs
27 weeks (8-28-09) --- 56 lbs

Apollo is a beautiful dog. I just stand on my bathroom scale, check my weight. Then get back on with Dieter in my arms, check weight again. Our weight minus my weight= Dieters :).

Dieter seems to grow in spurts. His legs seem to be getting longer and the paws are big. I think he's due for another spurt soon.
