Wow, that is huge for 16 weeks So Cal...

Della this week - 8/3/09 (24 weeks) - 46#

I know... He has these Hulk paws right now.. He's put on just under 20lbs as of today in the 5 weeks that I've had him.. If your familiar with Kimbertal he's out of Pierce Patrick od Telepa over there and the bitch is out of Wiking di Perlanera who is HUUUGE.. I beleive he will check in about 105-110 when it's all said and done.. He had 1 week where he put on 6-7 lbs.. Amazing...

Wow, that's great news hrd; especially considering it wasn't all that long ago she was sick.

I know, it's getting to the point where they're heavy enough that they don't want to be picked up any more so they squirm too....

Shoot, that reminds me that I bought Della a box this spring and it's for 25 - 50 lb. dogs. I have a feeling she's going to be more than 50# by the end of summer...

I think I have 3 left out of the 6, but I guess if she's a little over 50# it won't be that big a deal. Who knew they'd grow so fast? She was only about 27# when I got them from the vet...

weighed Fate, even 50 today! she is growing like a weed! 12 lbs and she will be as heavy as Karma, cant believe it... she is almost the same size, but still has quite a bit to go to be the same size..

Trojan Weekly weigh-in.. 17 weeks and exactly 4 months old today, 51.o lbs.. 4.4 lbs in the last week. He is in Serious growth mode right now.. At least 22 inches as well..

weighed Fate, even 50 today! she is growing like a weed! 12 lbs and she will be as heavy as Karma, cant believe it... she is almost the same size, but still has quite a bit to go to be the same size..

Yeah, Fire's a bit...um...fluffy. She should likely be about75 lbs to be a nice weight. I can't help it I overindulge her ...a lot. They are free fed, but I'm thinking about trying Tye's green beans to see of I can lower her weight some. (My last female was 125 lbs of serious muscle. She was HUGE. I didn't realize it at the time. She seemed "normal" to me. Then we got Hooter who weighs 68lbs. & is male and all we could say was how "tiny" he was!!)

I need to get their height. I know Fire is about 3/4-1 inch taller than Hooter at the shoulder (he really is small for a male) & about 3 inches broader in the chest. Emmie is about 1.5 inches shorter than Hooter at the back.

Emmie being almost as tall as Hooter now, but still is so MUCH thinner . She's all legs. I am guessing she will top out around 70 lbs. and be very sleekly built where Fire is very stout.

They're all so different...it's great. Fire is strong as an Ox, Hooter is as fast as a bullet, and Emmie is sharp as a tack.:angel2devil:

Way to go Fate - she passed Della up big time.

August 11 (25 weeks) - 46.5#.... She lost a half a pound since last week, unless I mis-weighed, or she had a full belly last week....
Maybe she's full grown.... LOL!

Edit, I miss read the week before, and she was 46#, so she still gained a half a pound...

I know, I said "what???" too.... I bumped her food up again today, but she doesn't seem thin at all. I dunno... :dunno:

Della was the smallest of the litter? If that's what you meant then that probably explains it. I'm sure they BOTH are healthy and just right! But isn't it cool that after all of Fate's problems she is doing so well with weight?! It's just such a success story...her's and a few others here on the board! We hear so many sad ones that this is just neat!

I agree!

If I remember right, Della was the second to the smallest in the litter. I know for sure Boris was the second to the smallest in his litter (all 88# of him... LOL), so it might just be him I'm thinking of, but I thought I remembered that with Della too.
