We have bees. Our neighbor next door built a nice home on 7 wooded acres, then did not like bugs of any kind in the yard. 3 yrs ago he sprayed his yard and killed all of our bees. He had 4 small children who played in that yard. . I will take a few bugs anyday over pesticides in my yard.
This is just a county over from us. I had never heard of this man, but anyone this sick should never be allowed to be free again. I just have no words.
Sasha is riding next to me now; alert, watching traffic, expressing disappointment that we passed TSC without stopping…. She has taught us more than we have taught her. Her instincts, her need for work and play both, are so deeply ingrained in her, that all the training in the world could not...
I agree with all the above, but will throw in an additional thought. Dogs sense weakness or illness in other dogs. (As well as in their owners.) Making a move to change the hierarchy would be natural to them. Just wondering if your 3 yr old is sensing something different in your senior dog. Just...

I have had dogs my entire life. I am 67. 3 years ago we got a Doberman, and everything was different. I came onto this site, looking for answers to control the wild banshee we had brought into our home. Folks like @Ravenbird and @Ddski5 and others were so very helpful. At 3, Sasha is the best...
Beautiful pup! When we first brought Sasha home, it was a bit of trial and error. We found a cage/crate in the family room downstairs and one in our bedroom upstairs worked for us. She seemed to settle better at first after I added a top over the cage to give her a more den type feel. Later when...
