Angel

:scratch::wideyed::shock:

I remember that vividly. She went from a coat like a seal to more like a dog Within the first few weeks of having her. I loved that seal coat! It was so soft and sleek!

The last pair of littermates here always had noticeable differences in how silky smooth or coarse their coats felt. Noticeable to where you could tell them apart by running a hand over them in the dark...

Same exact everything but one has a silky smooth coat and on one it feels rough. ???

My new girl here has that softer and smoother feeling coat and is over 2 yrs old.

Beautiful pup! When we first brought Sasha home, it was a bit of trial and error. We found a cage/crate in the family room downstairs and one in our bedroom upstairs worked for us. She seemed to settle better at first after I added a top over the cage to give her a more den type feel. Later when she was more settled, this came off. We also crated when she was most tired, which looks kind of like a toddler’s pinball mode. Just like a toddler she fussed, but just like a toddler, she needed those naps. (I also crated when I needed a break!) She will learn. 😊

My second attempt, pretty proud of it actually. Learned a lot after the first, which were on but not seated in the ear come morning. He yelped when he hit the ear on something or bent the ear, but I think that was more about the shock of something new happening to his head, rather than true pain. With his ears up, he looks like I have a doberman, not just a widdle baby.

He's been upgraded to a larger, wire crate, which he seems to settle in faster; or maybe he's just acclimitizing.
