After doing some "research" that consisted of browsing this thread and looking at other puppy weights (man, it's been so fun watching everyone grow), I'm speculating that her adult weight will be in the 60-70 lb. range, or average and healthy. At the most recent vet visit, the vet said that Kona still has some skeletal growth left. I would honestly think that most medium-large breed dogs at 6 months might have some skeletal growth left, but maybe that's not the case. Kona has begun to look more gangly, though.

I've also seen some people track their dog's age from the day that the dog was born to that exact day a month later (using this method, 1/12/23 to 2/12/23 would make Kona exactly one month old). For the sake of simplicity, I'll just track her based on weeks.

I weighed him one more time when he was around 50lbs, but I’m not sure when that was. Definitely will not be doing it again lol!

I was taking pictures with him in the mirror but stopped sometime in May. I decided to try again over the weekend and I was literally bending backwards

LOL I can pick up the pup beyond getting a weight but you have to stand perfectly still on the scale or it will error out. Or at least ours does.

Yes that’s the hard part! He kept moving around so I couldn’t get an accurate weight.

I thought about getting a platform scale for weighing dogs but once they're grown you don't need it that much and it would be another thing to store.

Thank you! His breeder came up with his name as we co-own him together. Now we are just having a hard time coming up with a registered name At first I wasn't sure about the name but I really like it now, it's strong and unique! It means cross or stake or "I make something stand, I stop" Feels fitting for a show dog
