He would have been 9 Sept. 7th. So yeah, I have that to look forward to in just a week
I'm trying to pull myself together enough to celebrate Drake's life because he deserves it. He earned the right to walk along with the best that ever lived. He was beautiful, and I'm not just saying that because he's mine........just look at his pictures. He was so loving. Most of you you long timers remember the story of Heather, the little girl with brain cancer. Drake proved just how gentle and loving he could be. Here's a link to that story if you wish to read it
I'm Struggling And Could Use Some Help.... He was protective and IMHO had a rock solid temperament. He had an incredible ability to discern the good from the bad. This is just one time (the first time) Drake showed me I need to trust my dog.
I am SO proud of my dogs! And the last time just a few months ago
Will he bite?
Drake and I traveled all over the country going to training, shows and trials. What a great time we had and what GREAT people we met. What an amazing journey we had. So sorry it's over, but thrilled beyond words I got to be part of it.
I had no idea one dog could be loved by so many. Once the word got out that Drake was gone, the cards, phone calls, emails began. Of and the thoughtful gifts, dinners cooked by my neighbors and the love that has poured out for my family has been overwhelming. Just one dog made such a difference in so many lives. I'm proud of that.
