The Harlequin Dane with cropped ears always blew me away!

I had a HUGE blue dane become obsessed with me at a show. I mean OBSESSED! He even tried humping my leg! At one point I thought I was gonna be hurt by that gentle giant! He was a beauty and obviously friendly!

. I think they're more prone than our Dobermans.

They are! I looked into Danes at one point and the health issues scared me away! The are also prone to DCM....

Well I am glad you are praying about this situation....I also would be concerned that this is the 'only' dog your wife would have...because as you said; whatever goes on with it will be on your wife...but you know that you would be the one who would have to make some serious decisions if there were real problems surfacing.

I was fortunate that my husband and I were only interested in Dobermans years back when we got together. They have become the glue in our life, and it is the one thing we agree on always. After Clarke passed, I was not interested in getting another dobe...I was going to just stick with Glory, and look for another dobe way later....my husband always wins in that department. That is how we ended up getting Falcon and no....niether are 'his' dogs....unless I am not home! They enjoy snuggling with daddy, until I leave the room

Well...

we went for it!

It has been pretty stressful, especially since my wife went on a business trip for five days.

The pup's true personality indeed has come out. He does still show some mellowness like we observed at first, but he's quite spirited and rambunctious.

He is all but house trained, and came to us that way. Unfortunately, though, he has had a few accidents. In fact, I decided to throw away the dog bed that was Ojis, then Zephyr's after Cosmo peed on it (for a second time?) It didn't smell like pee on there after I found it soaked through to the floor, so I chalked it up to one of them barfed up water on it after drinking. But yesterday I caught Cosmo squatting and letting the pee flow. UGH!!

They have some great play sessions together, and Zephyr is impressing the snot out of us with how much of a gentleman he is!!

I can provide a more extensive update soon.

decided to throw away the dog bed that was Ojis, then Zephyr's after Cosmo peed on it (for a second time?) It didn't smell like pee on there after I found it soaked through to the floor, so I chalked it up to one of them barfed up water on it after drinking. But yesterday I caught Cosmo squatting and letting the pee flow.

I wonder if he was litter tray trained like many breeders are doing these days so he figured that was the closest thing to a tray?

Congratulations on a new puppy! Will be looking forward to photos and stories. Puppy days pass so fast, you blink and they're too big to take puppy picture anymore. Treat us now and then, especially since you're sure to get antics with the two dogs together.

The day after we adopted him, he pooped out this: (it did not come from our household) See the Victoria's Secret tag?



A few days later, he barfed out these two in the same barf: (They are not from our household) One is a Victoria's Secret, and the other is a Pink brand.

Let's hope the third thong's a charm!!

Just thought it was funny and eery that after posting this, I went into my yahoo account to sign out and this ad was up on the side bar of the yahoo email page. Hmmm.

Wait. EDIT to: It was on DCF here I thought. Now I con't remember.

Yup they're picking up on every single thing you type or even say. I turned 3rd party cookies off but I'm not sure if it helped or not.
The other day I was sitting at our car dealership (Ford of Hibbing) for an oil change and now I'm seeing a bunch of Ford of Hibbing ads.

Yeah that's a big wow! Geez I can't believe he had all that in him! Did you return them back to the foster? That's a joke. But I may have said something to them. I mean, really, they certainly are not watching! That could have turned out horrible. It's amazing what they can eat and poop out and other times it never makes it out and it's an emergency. I'm glad that this all came out okay. Hope there's nothing else!
