Random Photo of the Day - 2019 - post yours!

Odyssey is such a prima Donna that she HAS to have something soft to lay on, she will not lay on the floor OR if there is “something” in the way. It could be something insignificant like a piece of paper and she will stand there and eye you til you move it per her comfort. All the dogs sleep in bed. Rio will often move to the tile in the hall because he gets hot easily, but he always returns for morning snuggles.

So.. good thing I took that photo yesterday with the santa hat. I put it on the counter where I thought he couldn't reach it. Lets just say Jasper got to it and decided to only break the elastic band :banghead: So I have a perfectly good santa hat with a broken strap haha!

Small elastic bands are available at most arts and crafts shops. It’s how we made Ezri’s shower cap...

Della is trying to give me a heart attack when we're trying not to let her exert herself too much, but she still wants to so it has to be in moderation. Flying over a snowbank at full speed is not my idea of moderation. LOL

^^^^^ All that beautiful space to run in. I think our dogs appreciate the cooler weather more than we do!

Meanwhile, here in the heatwave, waiting for the rains..........still waiting, the bees have now found a good water source and blocking most of the wasps out! I don't mind giving the bees a break, but that dish is empty by the end off the day and the birds sit around making a fuss until I go and fill it!anim0202x2.webp
I think it's funny looking at all those snorkels sucking up the water!

Looks like my birdbath several years ago! If I find that picture I will show you!

Jasper had a blast in the snow today. This was his first snow and at first he was a big baby. But once I took the ball out it was game over XD

Funny thing is the ball would get lost in the snow and when Jasper was sniffing it out, his little nub was wagging like crazy. Even after an hour of ball chasing he was still wagging his nub when he needed to sniff out the ball. He was so excited about it. Maybe we will start some scent work. Id like to find a place to train though. My area doesn’t have many options.

Wow, where were you?? A farm, horses, snow???

Big Puppies! Ha, every time we go out to feed the horses, my husband says, "Let go get the big dogs." :D

My BIL house and horse sits for their aunt and uncle who live in WI but winter in Phoenix! Apparently Moo would grab a corn stalk from the field, bring it over to show the horses, and then get really excited when they looked at him  And dog Dad was able to call him off a rabbit!

Most of the horses we've been in contact with recently are trail horses that seem generally less interested in things so my husband was really surprised when these guys DID act like big dogs haha!

Play with meeeeeee!
