Puppy bm

Yes, same with Pepper loves food and is also a starving dog 24/7.

I am going ti stick with 3 for

Thank you for checking in! She is back to normal now, normal bms and normal poop times lol.

I do think she was sick with whatever virus is going around and the bed stuffing she consumed didn’t help.

You’re right you have to watch them 24/7 it’s a lot of work and stressful. She was awful as a small pup constantly I was saying leave it, no, drop it. She has made progress and having her prong on when walking is helpful.

I really can’t give her any chews and/or raw meat. I gave her a nice local bully stick when away weeks ago, diarrhea, ocean water - diarrhea and I tried another chew bison trechea as she did well with beef before and nope diarrhea. Just a bummer it seems most things upset her and I am really afraid to try anything besides some fruit, veggies, and cooked chicken.

Hoping the eating random stuff stops completely, but I did notice when I left her in her crate to run errands or whatever, no that long at all! She got bored and ate her bed and sheet on top of crate. So now it’s bare and she has one solid chew toy in there only.

I even removed her night time blanket because she was cobbing it and ate some of it, her bed she does leave alone because she’s zonked out.

We’ve had poop issues since week 1 and I am over it. My husband thinks I am crazy, but I keep telling him her poop matters lol. It tells so many things.

😵‍💫😁
Looks like I never posted back to @Kaiser2016 and I did today not noticing, not sure what I even typed there 🥴😂

Does she get diarrhea with a bully stick? That's the only thing I have given Annie. A lot of the other things including trachea I thought I heard has a lot of fat in it.
Yeah bully sticks too :(

Furry cow ear was the only thing that she seemed ok with.

Any thoughts on constipation and false pregnancy? Never thought Pepper would have this issue…she has attempted to do her normal morning bm and nothing a little liquid. She was fine last night normal bm then bed in crate. I am a bit worried, but she seems fine otherwise no issues, besides being a little off with this false pregnancy.

I never noticed any difference in the BM during a false pregnancy. If you have some pure pumpkin on hand it can work both ways to either soften it up or firm it up if they're loose.

Had success after her pumpkin lol. She had me worried she age something
she wasn’t supposed to. Never has she not gone number 2.

Hmm.......I wonder where the fat would come from? :scratch:I mean it's just cartilage so where do they hide the fat?
I only bought one one time, but I got the impression it had been dipped in warm fat and then cooled. It kind of had drips or runs on it, and for that reason, I hadn't bought one since.

Here we go again. After her not going for hours she went and it has been a mix of normal and not normal. Some were green which I haven’t seen before. Today she’s had some explosions with mucus tmi sorry. She even got sick at 4 am in her crate.
Again, acting normal otherwise. Hoping she gets better asap and if not stool sample in am.

Up 3x last night one semi normal bm and two not good - liquid. She then vomited a large amount this morning with undigested rice which she had at 5 pm last night. She is acting very sleepy and lazy, normal in the morning, but not even attempting to harass me to eat, not normal. I’m withholding food for now. Calling vet at 8 am. Worried to death about her as this seems to be a repeat, but worse. I can only hope it’s a parasite this time, but after our past experiences who knows. Just want her to be ok.

I also held off on her simparico trio, it was to be given on 2/28, didn’t want to make matters worse. Smart move?

I feel so bad for you guys.

I don't give simparico, but I definitely would have withheld sentinel and bravecto. Likely it wouldn't absorb into her system anyways, and like you thought, I would think similar about potentially making matters worse.

I hope she's feeling better soon.

It’s so stressful as I am worried sick about her and hoping it’s an easy fix. With her past who knows at this point. When these incidents occur I tend to go down into the rabbit hole.

I do know she grabbed some sips of water in the creek last week. So I am hopeful her still will tell us. She went from not going for a few hours, to green solid stool, and then a mix of normalish soft to liquid. It’s been very inconsistent. I was sure she was ok last night before bed almost normal stool.

Going to run the stool in first and take it from there.

Thanks @Katyusharocket for the support ❤️

It's easy to go down the rabbit hole with stuff like this. My Thor (RIP buddy) liked to eat stuff he shouldn't have. Invested $1200 in x-rays thru his life for.. corn cobs ( my neighbors just throw their food waste right out the door, drives me bonkers).

I also tended to beat myself up, like "yep, dog dad of the year, lets his boy eat corn cobs" but that was unproductive.

I doubt a few sips of creek water would be to blame, but creeks here may be different or cleaner than what you've got, as population and industry are sparse here.

You're doing absolutely the best thing for her by stool sampling and working with her vet to get her squared away.

We will be thinking of you guys and waiting to hear the results and solutions. We hope it's nothing complex to solve.

First step medication , one being diagel @Katyusharocket. If she doesn’t improve in 48 hours we are to go in for x ray. Vet said she seems in good health, vitals great, had enough energy to fight the vet lol.

Vet said could be the false pregnancy, goose poop, stagnant creek water, so we can start here with meds. Keep an eye on her 24/7, told her that’s all I do lol.

Fingers crossed 🤞

Hopefully the meds help and she will be back to feeling good again.
