It does look like a Euro Doberman though. Actually kind of like Zulu, one of our old members dogs and I know he has bred him.

Edit to add: It could also be one of Immortal Dobe's dogs too since she's been doing a lot of shoots with them in that area.

It isn't Miles or Keilani and I think Tequila is a little taller than this dog? Looks young? Maybe Rogue?

Well today these are the most famous people!

March 1945: Members of the U.S. Marine Corps "Devil Dogs" unit, the First Marine War Dog Platoon, move up to the front lines with their Doberman Pinschers in Iwo Jima, Japan, during World War II. The dogs were credited with saving the lives of Marines on numerous occasions.

This Memorial Day we salute the countless heroes both human and canine who made the ultimate sacrifice in ensuring our freedoms. As well as all the men and women who tragically never came home, many of the dogs who served so nobly by the sides of our troops in military conflicts lost their lives. May we honor and remember all the casualties of war amidst our picnics and fun activities this weekend, and every day.

“Kurt” was the first casualty. The Doberman was wounded by a Japanese grenade and would become the first to be buried in what would become the war dog cemetery. More followed. Twenty four Doberman Pinschers, more. All of them war dogs now buried on Guam.

“Cappy” was another dog. Scouting for a Marine line officer named William Putney, Cappy, went ahead and suddenly alerted that there were enemy ahead. A shot rang out, hit Cappy and he jumped up in the air about three or four feet and fell dead. Forewarned, the Marines were able to take the rocks, killing five Japanese soldiers and taking one prisoner. Cappy had saved those lives.

After the war, Putnam moved to Los Angeles and started a veterinary practice, but the former Marine never forgot.

In 1989, he returned to Guam to visit the dogs’ graves and was horrified to find their cemetery overgrown and neglected. Putney found a new home for the cemetery at the naval station and worked with the United Doberman Club on a memorial. He donated a granite monument that is inscribed with the names of the dogs and the fate of each. It is topped by a life-size bronze statue of a sitting Doberman, titled “Always Faithful,” sculpted by Susan Bahary Wilner.

I had never heard of her.

She's hot, she's into Dobermans and she can kick ass.

I like her.

I believe she was the Goalie for the US Olympic Ladies soccer team in 2012/London Games. I think she was also on the US team for a while until she had those "issues" and was kicked off the US team.
