Crop Pics - Lets see your style!

4 month old Panzer! His ears seem to be super sensitive and he get sores very, very easily so I leave them unposted for a couple days ( max four ) in between, but he's been in posts for.... about two and a half months now, give or take a little. I'm very slowly getting better at posting haha it's been an uphill battle trying to find good tape but I finally found some I like that wont rip the hair out of his ears. Of course he scratches at it until the edges fray but it's been stable thankfully!

Remi between postings, but boy the struggle to keep the posts actually in her ears without sores/irritation is SO REAL.....I love her crop and don't want to risk them falling. She is 5 months, lost most of her baby teeth, I think the molars are still baby teeth tho......so I feel like I have 3 more months to go at least. Medium crop. My husband says her ears are too big. I disagree.

She is 16 weeks old & still posting...Not sure what you would classify the crop as but we think she is stunning!

This thread has given us a ton of photos to take to the vet - thanks all! We are wanting a lower maintenance crop, especially since we have an energetic Doxie at home to factor into the equation :) That being said, we needed to find more examples of short/military and shorter medium crops to bring in, which this thread provided in full! This is our 2.5 month old pup Brooks pre-crop (best straight forward pic so far, he’s all a blur in photos right now, lol)

Hi everyone beautiful Dobermans!! Could anyone tell me what length they think our puppy has? I know it’s probslly hard to tell with the tape but his ears tips are right at the end of the tape :) thank you!!

Hey, congratulations on the good looking Doberpup and the crop!

I'd venture to say that you have a medium length crop there – perhaps a similar length to what my current Dobe has. Seems like a nice crop in that I don't see an excess of bell.
