Aww he's cute and the crop looks pretty nice! I'm struggling with Albert's left ear too since that's the one he sleeps on hard, so we just keep posting away til the cartilage is firmed up enough for it not to sag no matter what he does. Sigh...

3 days old is the usual. The tail is a little bit longer in the US than in Europe. AKC standard states "docked at approximately second joint".

Welcome! We'd love it if you popped on over to the Intro section and told us a bit more about yourself and Archer. His crop seems to fit his head shape very nicely. Don't give up on posting yet! If you keep up with it you can fix that inward tilt he has going on.Here is Archer's ear crop. I asked for a medium show crop. They're not exactly like the photo I brought into her, but they seem to suit him and he's cute regardless. Whatcha think?
He's a good looking boy and I agree that the crop seems to suit him well. I assume the middle photo is a more recent one since they ears look in more of a natural stance there rather than pulling in?

Yup, you called it. Those were taken on the day the tape was removed. The one in the middle was taken last week. They have become more natural as time progresses.

Juno has very long ears and a very long crop. The puppy picture is about 4 months old and the other picture is 2.5 years. I think they are a bit too long but they are beautiful.
Her ears are beautiful and you did a great job with them! Albert has the super long crop too and it sure is a lot more work, but wow they look nice when they're standing correctly.
Uzi's ears are coming along amazingly well too Charity and you won't have any trouble getting them to stand. Such a pretty little girl!

Well you know it's hard for most vets to do the ears exactly like a picture you bring in! It's really quite an art form to itself lol I call it weird science! It is also a beauty is in the eye of the beholder too! Some like em short some long some wide some narrow geez we are a hard breed to please but the dobers are happy either way
