The best thing I did for Vinnie was bring him to day care. He learned how to play with all kinds of dogs in a supervised location where all dogs are vet checked prior to admittance. He loves it, learns tons from it, is able to have friends and I dont have to worry. Also I get a break for 8 hours...
He is chipped and the vet here has the info but I don't have anyone to list for an emergency contact. Thats why I was hoping to find some sort of document for Vinnie.
Hi all, seems like forever since I had the time, energy and internet connection to post. Well, since last post I was able to secure a new van and camper that is travel worthy so our grand adventure is planned for 3 weeks! We have all been busy figuring out how to survive together in a 17 foot...
Hi all, so was going to post an update about how Vinnie is doing and will try tomorrow....internet is not going to last that long right now.....short version is he is soooooo much better:) Since my poor baby was sick last week for his actual 1 year birthday, he had his party at his daycare with...
oh, yes, that info might be helpful huh lol. No I got a new food. Food #1 was grain free and until I know what the deal is I stopped it. Food #2 got him sick so I am planning to start food #3. Diamond naturals chicken and rice...it was on the list of top 20 foods so I figured I would start...
So we are on day 3 of chicken and rice, day 1 was just water. We are finally getting normal-ish poops! So I figured another day or 2 of the chicken and rice, then slowly begin to introduce new food. So the question is how slow do you guys recommend I introduce and in what quantities to not only...
I had no idea...just one more reason I love this site, thanks! We actually removed the ball from the whip after 2 days, he is just as happy to chase the whip lol and it was easier that trying to keep them from falling off lol
I went and got a lunge whip and tied a tennis ball to the end. wow. It is my saving grace. I use it like a flirt pole and it's become his hands down favorite toy. Someone here gave me the idea...cant recall who...sorry, but I save it for when I really need him to be tired...right before nap or...
There is nothing that I could possibly say that has not been said already, but my heart breaks for you and your family. I wish now only a peaceful transition and gentle journey for your baby. May the pain you now feel lessen a tiny bit each day......I am so sorry....
Hi all, well this am we went straight to the vet. I woke up to what looked like a crime scene, but with poop. Noticed blood as well so tossed him in the car and met the vet as they opened the door. It turns out it was messy, but not as bad as it originally looked but to wake up to...
oh! wow, great info thanks I will keep the bones off the table so to speak and stay with the chicken for training treats once he is better. So this leads me to a question then. He is a bone freak. I have tried several kinds and one by one I find out they are not good for him. Is there a bone out...
thank you, I was thinking of that also but am too gun shy with the grainfree business and the other food only comes in a 45 lb bag...I just cant keep paying 50$ to toss out...so frustrating. I think I may keep what is left of this one to slowly introduce the new one with after a few days of...
