which size do you guys and girls recommend for a 4 month plus old lunatic

We have the XLs, I believe, in the black rubber. They grow into them in no time!

We have the large, red. He can't swallow it or ruin it by chewing cause they are tough enough to withstand a dobe. Large or XL he will grow into. Befor you know it Ha!

I have what at least used to be called "Ultra King Kong." It's the black color, which is harder than the red, and it's the largest size.

It depends on your particular Dobe of course. If she needs something softer, get the red colored one. If the largest size is too big at this stage, get a smaller one.

You call her a lunatic though, so it sounds like you could save the money and go straight for the big black dude.

Vinnie ate the red one at 9 months old so I never got another one other than the big one with treats inside....but thats different

Tank only does kongs. I might let him have a tennis ball if I dont have a kong with me, but it will be in shreds in two minutes. Both the red and black have held up to his chewing than any other tough ball I tried to get him. XL theyll grow into. But a normal tennis ball sized will do the trick, and I like smaller targets.

This is the one purchased. I put a few pieces of cooked chicken in it and it took him all of 1 minute to figure out if he hits it with his nose he gets a treat

Be careful with the tennis ball. I have heard that the glue is toxic!

Preacher loves his black Kong extreme ball. It's a little bigger than a tennis ball. This ball is his passion, I believe he has really strengthened his jaw muscles from constantly trying to squeeze it.
