shes 1 and she turns 2 in august. itās sudden at least i just noticed it. we use to have carpet and now we have all wood floors. this is kind of what her coat looks like recently. she doesnāt have any bald spots but she doesnāt have an irritation spot right on her neck. itās the only place she scratches. does the rubber broom actually work? and what kind of robot vacuum? They do shed, and if you have carpet you barely notice. If you have bare floors you will see lots more. LOL, especially if your floor is light colored! I got a lower end robot vacuum and it really does make a difference. My other favorite for bare floors is a rubber broom rather than a bristle broom. That said, like @JanS mentioned, if her hair coat doesn't look tight and shiny and is getting any bald spots it may be a nutritional problem. How old is your dog? And is this a sudden problem? When puppies shed for the first time, their hair is lighter, finer and seems like a lot more than later sheds when they are adults.
I would definitely look into a different food since Purina products are loaded with junk fillers and things dogs are allergic to. This site can give you a good analysis of different foods and here is Purina. Purina Dog Chow Dog Food Review (Dry) | Dog Food Advisorthis is the food she eats
If the new floor is less than 6 months you're probably just seeing hair for the reality that it is.we use to have carpet and now we have all wood floors
Are the bristles on that soft or stiff?A robot vacuum helps immensely! I brush him once a week with a horse brush like this. He is a little pony after all!I also feed sardines which contribute to coat health.
I don't usually notice Dobe hairs until I wash the couch blankets; then there are GOBS of it in the lint trap.I'm guessing soft since that's what I use for polishing our dogs coats as a last step of grooming. When they are shedding a bit I will use a rubber horse curry and it takes it off well. Are the bristles on that soft or stiff
The bristles are soft. Nothing abrasive or sharp or pointy. I have a rubber glove too, it works sometimes, but not as well as the brush.I'm guessing soft since that's what I use for polishing our dogs coats as a last step of grooming. So did I but one of the pups decided they didn't like it years ago so there wasn't much left of it.I have a rubber glove too, it works sometimes, but not as well as the brush.
