Mine used to wait for it to activate so they can pounce on it.
At random times when it’s parked in its dock, one or the other dog will casually walk by and swat it once, then stand back and see what happens.
We eventually got rid of it after finding upside down like a turtle more often than not returning home.

i just moved into a new apartment less than a week ago and my dogs hair is literally everywhere. is there some kinda trick into picking it up because i feel like i sweep one day and its pointless because its everywhere again the next. anyone have any ideas please?

And you own a doberman? What food are you feeding? It should not be shedding like that. Also when they do shed somewhat in spring I brush mine with a shedder comb weekly along with my 6 cats. Talk about hair what would you do with that. .? LOL But thing is you got a dog . Hair does come with it.

Excessive shedding is rare with this breed. What are you feeding?

I'm so thankful to have this breed when I sit next to people with breeds like GSD's at shows and everything is covered in hair with them.

So did I but one of the pups decided they didn't like it years ago so there wasn't much left of it.

I bought Pepper the kong zoom groom which arrived today. I could’ve made a new dog with the fur that came off her. Assuming the heatwave is making her hair loss worse?!

I had to laugh at the last part. I do wonder if the heat plays a part though. Remy was shedding pretty badly the other day and it’s been very hot and humid this summer.

For him the zoom groom doesn’t do much unless I use it during a bath.

Haha I can’t believe the amount coming off her. Even when I go in her crate to clean it out, its all fur!

Yes, I wonder too as it was brutally hot here and she was really bad fur wise.

Been doing the zoom groom daily now and less fur comes off each brushing. I haven’t tried it in the bath yet she’s a bit of a turd in the bath
