Olive's Minnesota arrival

I meant to post this yesterday but I've been pretty preoccupied with our beautiful babies.

She's here and right when transport guy said he'd arrive.


Her van mate in the crate next to hers. He was picked up in PA and headed for CA from here. He's the same age as Olive but WAY bigger.

She found Phoebe's beloved pigs right away.




Finally wiped out last night.


She found a spot of sun this morning to take a nap.


Then Elroy joined her.


I think they like each other.


Waiting for it to warm up so they can go on the deck.


Our life is complete again...

She's so tiny! How precious! She is really beautiful. And made herself at home! Looks like the two are going to be great Buddies! Home sweet home.

He seemed pretty small to me until a couple days ago. LOL

Looks like Elroy is being a very good boy.

He has been amazing.

He got the stuffing out of it a while back but he still loves it.

Elroy is 8 months now and Olive is 10 weeks. We never thought we'd have 2 so close together but Elroy has been handling it like a responsible adult and we're sooo glad we were able to get this little girl.

Oh I have no doubt that you and Rick will do well with both these kiddos! Even being not that far apart in age. I was just curious of what the ages were because I couldn't remember. Especially Olive. I was showing the difference in sizes between the two of them to my husband and he asked me how old they were and I was like, um.... I'm not sure!

I love that! That's exactly how Ripley was when she came home and when we walked in to the door of Kim's house to pick her up, Ripley was first to stomp over and to greet us at the door all the way from the kitchen

Him being older and more trained is going to speed things up big time for the puppy. Monkey see monkey do learning is real and having the older dog around is definitely going to be a positive.

When I brought the current girls home I went out of my way to make darn sure the adult girl that was here already did not get suddenly left out or receive 'less' attention due to the new arrivals. If pups had to be taken out in the middle of the night for a pee break the big girl was invited and the first one out the door every time.

If the puppies were going to be fed I made sure that the existing dog got some too and was fed before the puppies.

Can tell from your videos of them interacting (you allowing it like you do) that you have everything sorted out.
