Thank you!! I'm super stoked. Even if I wasn't going for a degree and resulting career, it is all such interesting and useful knowledge if you have animals. Of all kinds. I have been sort of lost in my life as far as figuring out what I want to do with myself, and I feel like I've finally found it.

It's actually ridiculous that we expect people to know what they want to do for the rest of their lives at 18 knowing usually nothing/minimal about "the real world." I think I'd have changed my major a few years in if it didn't mean tens of thousands of dollars. My sister actually never finished college and is doing just fine. It took my brother years to figure out what he wanted to do and an associates degree at a local college was perfect for him.
I'm so glad you found something you love! Very few people do!

Ain't that the truth!! I'm now 30 and just figured it out, at 18 you're still a kid. I did two semesters of junior college, and it wasn't for me. The program I'm doing now is online which has worked tremendously so far. I'm always reading and doing my own research on topics that interest me anyway, so this is just a structured form of that. Eventually I'll be able to graduate with a degree and take the test to become an official, licensed technician. Woohoo!
He is so mad as we are leaving for a soccer game. Yes, could have taken him, only 1hr away but forecast is rain and I’m having to video the game also.

My daughter comes downstairs yesterday morning, walking slightly hunched over, with her cat on her shoulder/neck/back! 
That cat loves to ride along on them and never even grabs on with her nails. The kids will pick her up and gently toss her across one shoulder and walk around like that. Its hysterical. She's been an awesome pet for them!

Thanks! He gets a lot of baths because he and Anna turned the backyard into a mud hole. The only nice thing about winter is the mud is frozen.

So if you guys ever need to keep your doberman busy: find this soft rubber ball and cut a slit in it. Sooner or later it will look like your poor dog got his nose stuck inside. But once you get it off the first time you’ll see that he is being a goof and doing it on purpose!
