No health testing that I could see, looks to be a backyard breeder. You might be rolling the dice with one of those puppies. Cheap though, If that is what is important. Doubt those puppies will be able to do any protection. I would look elsewhere if it were me.I’m difinitly not looking looking for a high drive dog more along intermediate I found another kennel in Iowa called MDM seemed like very nice people but you never know ?
Health testing is extremely important to me more so then a ton of titles.
You should contact Brandi at Masaya Dobermans she has a litter that is about 5-6 weeks old. She can place you with a dog that will fit your needs. She is in winterset Iowa.I’m difinitly not looking looking for a high drive dog more along intermediate I found another kennel in Iowa called MDM seemed like very nice people but you never know ?
Oh how I wish there was a schutzhund training facility two miles from my house! I'd be doing it! (See, I hate to drive and waste gas). Yes, not surprising that you would be the only Dobe owner there. Dobermans that can hack Schutzhund are not that common.Still looking for that 100% Eruopean dog the only Eruopean dogs somewhat close to me that I can find are swank. I like the bigger body dogs height and weight not giants but at the top end of the Eruopean standard 99 lbs I believe trying to keep the price at 1500 -2000 all in. I found there is a schutzhound training facility and club 2 miles from my house 300.00 a year to join there club and it’s up to you how far you wanna go. The lady said I would be the only dobe ( if I’m ever to find one).
Explain what a line breeding is and what are the issues with this ?I know a breeder that had one of her people have an oops litter, it is a line breeding but at least both parents are health tested. Trying to find out more info. The will have a bit higher drive but maybe be closer to what you are looking for.
I understand what your saying but I think IMO it depends on the body structure. I have seen heavier dobies with leaner body structures and lighter weight dobies with stockier builds...If you have an alert 95 lb. Dobe it is going to be more intimidating than a 75 lb. one.
Yes, actual size is just one aspect of appearance. If you put a short, 45 lb. Pit Bull next to 28", 70 lb. Oji the Pit (in my opinion) is likely to look more intimidating.I understand what your saying but I think IMO it depends on the body structure. All pure breeds were created through line breeding. It lessens the gene pool, that is why many breeders will outcross when breeding. Some breeders will go back to Line breeding if they are trying to recreate certain things from a previous breeding that they really liked. It increases the chance of getting back those same attributes. It also increase the chance of having any bad attributes so the pros must out weigh the cons. Inbreeding is very popular in cattle and other livestock.Explain what a line breeding is and what are the issues with this ?
What is the club? Was it Jacki Purdham’s club?Still looking for that 100% Eruopean dog the only Eruopean dogs somewhat close to me that I can find are swank. If you are serious about joining a Schutzhund club. You should seriously think about talking to Brandi. Trust me you don’t want a 90-100 lbs Doberman if you are going to get into this sport. The top Dobermans doing this sport range from about 70-85 lbs they are kept extremely lean and athletic. The massive looking euro dogs do not hold up well.Still looking for that 100% Eruopean dog the only Eruopean dogs somewhat close to me that I can find are swank. K-9 friends yes I believe that was her nameWhat is the club? Was it Jacki Purdham’s club?
I believe anydog can do anything with the right training I get it the other dog might get there faster .9 secs faster or jump 2 inches higher but I’m ok with that the shutzhound training would be more fun and surely wouldn’t hurt socialbity. If you are serious about joining a Schutzhund club. My first Doberman, while he is my once-in-a-lifetime Dobe, could not do some things due to what he was born with. His 95 lbs. could not do a backflip while catching a frisbee, and he could never full-mouth bite. It just was not in him. There is a reason that you don't find very many Dobermans in Schutzhund / IPO. Seems there is somewhat a revival in the working ability of the breed but it's small and slow-building.I believe anydog can do anything with the right training I get it the other dog might get there faster .9 secs faster or jump 2 inches higher but I’m ok with that the shutzhound training would be more fun and surely wouldn’t hurt socialbity.

She's nice looking! She does look like a smaller girl, eh? Is that picture taken at a young age? So, the pup you may be getting is from the same Sire and Dam, but a subsequent breeding?View attachment 82704 I will be making a decision in the next couple of days and it looks like it might be this girls little brother
