Oleg and Lana Pilipovski at www.eurodoby.com

We bought a pup from Oleg & Lana Pilipovski that was advertised vWD clear through parentage. We had her tested before breeding and she is affected. We have contacted other owners with offspring of Bismark von Pressilla and their dogs are either carriers or affected so Bismark has to be at least a carrier.
The breeder knew we wanted to breed this dog and didn't care about her health.
This people don't care about the breed or dogs in general.
HORRIBLE breeder!!!

That's frustrating to deal with liars :stomp:
Your dog may never have any blood clotting problems but it's better not to breed her.

I contacted Lana and Oleg Pilipovski at eurodoby about their doberman puppies and they sounded very knowledgeable about the breed. They told me that all the puppies were Vonwillebrands clear by parentage and assured me that my puppy was clear. I bought the dog and after testing, I found out my puppy is Vonwillebrands carrier. I contacted them and they told me to, "stop crying" and that I am lucky they didn't send me a VWD affected puppy. . I am very upset. These people are scammers and just say anything to make a sale. I paid extra for von willebrands clear and breeding rights and now I can not breed him and he is not worth nearly what I paid. They will not let me return him and they will not even refund part of my money for lying about the Vonwillebrands disease.
Lana kept emailing me rude comments even saying my other doberman is ugly and poor quality, when my other doberman had nothing to do with the conversation at hand.
My puppy also came to me with a terrible ear infection. They also told me that he was the only black and rust male in the litter and then after I bought my puppy, they posted on facebook that they were keeping the best black and rust male for themselves. They are liars and I want people to know. Do not buy from them!

I just saw this Pipilovski character on Judge Judy. Please, people! Don't fall for the "Euro is better" BS. For a sound pup, contact The Doberman Pinscher Club of America @ https://www.dpca.org/

There are good and bad breeders all over the world. Even on the DPCA breeder list. The golden rule of a puppy purchase is DO YOUR RESEARCH!

You have a much higher chance of finding a mentally/physically sound pup/dog on DPCA than on Puppy Find...

I have done health testing on my female, obedience training, and we are starting protection work. I planned on doing complete heath testing on both and I want to show and do protection work with Remington. Since my female is carrier, I will never even have the choice to breed them. I do not plan on getting anymore dogs, so getting another female and trying to make sure she is clear is out of the question.

I know carrier is not a big deal, however I asked specifically for clear, and even asked for proof. I just want people to know that Lana Pilippovski with euro doby.com is a liar. When I did research, I could not find one bad comment or review about them. I want other people to know what they are getting into.

They obviously do not care about their dogs either. She never asked me if I had any experience with dobermans, what kind of food I feed, what kind of yard I have, nothing. Not one question. All she cared about was getting her money. She even told me that she sold another puppy from that litter to "someone who never even owned a goldfish, because her puppies are so easy to care for".

She told me to sell Remington if I didn't like him and she doesn't care what I do with him because it's not her problem. All sales are final.

Like I said, I just want other poeple to see my experience before buying from them. There is not much else I can do now. I am guessing also that my health garuntee means nothing since they lied about the vonwillebrands disease.

They are also selling his mom Arabella on www.puppyfind.com saying she is about to go in heat and will be ready to breed again! My puppy was just born June 19th. Geez. Give the dog a break.
I am sorry that this happened to you. That's completely dishonest and totally unfair!

Breeder is a total liar. Clear parentage DOES NOT guarantee clear offspring. Genetically two clears can produce carriers (albeit in a smaller percentage of probability) if carrier runs in the line. A breeder should know this. The fact that they didn't health test the puppies to guarantee status is a big red flag. A breeder should never charge more for clear status or breeding rights. IMHO this breeder has done several things to show what type of breeder they are, and they are far from reputable. They breed the mother every heat cycle and they don't stand behind their puppies. A reputable breeder would take a puppy back regardless of the situation. Enough red flags that I would have stayed away from this "breeder", but you have him now and he is in a good home which is equally important.

I applaud your desire to breed responsibly. Honestly, VWD status is something to take into consideration when breeding, but breeding a carrier to a carrier is not actually frowned upon. Dobermans are Type I vWD, which is the least clinically affected type. In fact, a majority that test vWD affected are never clinically affected. I am not saying vWD should be bred intentionally. What I am saying is that if we don't take well bred vWD carriers into account in breeding programs, we will have a even smaller gene pool, which is even worse for our breed. I am a show breeder and bred my carrier bitch to a clear stud with carrier lineage. Out of the three offspring, I have two clear puppies and the third has yet to be tested. We should put more emphasis on breeding DCM carriers (both hetero and homozygous) to DCM carriers. DCM is far worse of a cancer in our breed than vWD. Shoud vWD status be considered when breeding....absolutely! It is far from a dead end in a breeding program. This is the opinion of many reputable breeders in the show world. Conformation, health testing and proper temperament are the pillars of a good breeding program. Without these pillars we would not have a Doberman that fits the breed type. Just because a dog CAN be bred, doesn't mean it SHOULD be. Breeding a dog with poor conformation is just as bad as breeding a dog with improper health testing as poor conformation can and does result in health issues that can cause serious health risks as well.

Just food for thought.

This! Doing research is vital when you are purchasing a puppy. Knowledge is power. Educate yourself on health problems in the breed, seek out reputable breeders to talk to, join forums. Learn. This is not a healthy breed. Purchasing from a BYB or poor quality breeder can equate to heartache and many times your acquiring a puppy with a short lifespan as a result of improper practices. Granted it happens in well bred dogs too, but not as frequently and reputable breeders back their dogs and your purchase.
