Responsible breeders will have their pups cropped around 7 - 8 weeks old so that they are fully healed and out of stitches before they go home at 9 - 10 weeks. This ensures they get proper care and that you aren't putting too much on the plate of a new owner. And yes, they should be fully healed and stitches out before posting. You don't want to put tape on stitches if you can help it.
Thanks Jan! I did mention those in the video but I don't have a pair of my own, yet. I definitely want to get them before the next pup.
River's crop would technically be between a medium and a show crop. Her breeder worked with the vet to get the perfect crop length and style for her.

They put soo much tape on my poor puppy he got an infection and has lost most of the hair on his ears. I am going to start doing it myself and this video makes it look like I can do it
