Movies with Dobermans in them (:

Did you watch the actual movie? The Dobe isn't a true bad guy, no more than a cop doing his job is a bad guy. He just helps with security in the train station and the kid that is the main character is trespassing so he chases him. They actually don't make him look that mean or anything.

yes im watching it now. I know its not meant to be "bad" but kind of makes it seem like it IMO

was scrolling thru netflix & found the movie, "Hugo". And it has a doberman in it which of course plays the bad guy, sigh. I only know of a few movies with dobes in them like Garfield and Up.

I did not even know there was a Doberman in Garfield until this Christmas. My bf got a Ty beanie baby that was a doberman that said Luca. At first I ththough he had it custom made because how ironic is that. He randomly came across it and learned about the dobe in the movie. So of course I had to go watch Garfield after that.

Oh I also ment to say my bf told me about an old movie called the doberman gang where they have dobermans rob a bank or something. We bought it on eBay cheap. I'm watching the mailbox.

me neither till the other day i decided to watch it... i was like, "hey this has a doberman in it (:"

I highly recommend Eyes of an Angel to anyone who has not see it.

Netflix doesn't have it, and you can't rent it. You could probably buy it online, but it is easiest to watch the whole thing on YouTube. They have all the sections.

I saw it. The dobe reminds of Spock. He has the same expression and their crops are very similar.

Very true, I watched it a few weeks ago, though " Spock " for sure. Great, great movie if your a dobe lover. A tad slow, and the acting couldn't win any real awards, but oh that dog and the thought of the entire story is heart melting...........

Youtube is the only real way. I looked online to buy it and on VHS is was going for 100 bucks.

Beautiful movie. Straight to VHS release. I saw it when it was released (1992 I believe). Now that it's fresh on the brain I'll have to rewatch.

I never saw any of these. :( I've added Hugo to my Netflix but it doesn't have the Doberman Gang or, of course, Eyes of an Angel. One of these days I hope to see it. I can't do the YouTube because I have a data limit .

You can rent it through Lackluster online :) I won't since I refuse to give them any money, but I will prolly buy a copy through Amazon!

Have have the k-9 collection, I love all three.

There's a dobe in Beverley hills chihuahua (lol!) and anyone up for watching Disney cartoons oliver and company. However these are both bad guy dobes.

Theres a movie similar to that storyline but its more for children called Bingo. Same idea about a family movie cross country i believe and the dog gets left behind but finds them at their new home or something like that... its been yearssssssssssss since i've watched it. I still got it on VHS :p
