forgot to mention....apart from the crop style,my favorite part of Nika's crop is that there is not one stitch mark visible!! Dont think they used any stitches after cropping..Have no idea how they did it (due to her lack of English the breeder couldn't explain to me)

That shopping cart pics is just too cute!

He looks like the captain on his ship :D.

I like seeing different cropping styles. When my first Dobie was still a puppy, she attacked a farm cat and knew she was in trouble. She ran around the corner of the house and disappeared. I was looking out into the field wondering where she went when I saw two black ears sticking above the grass. I teased her for a bit by walking around and watching her ears follow me like a radar set.:)

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU COULD GET A CROP ANY BETTER THAN THIS THANKS FOR SHARING THE PICS AWESOME..I'M GOING TO STEAL UR VET;)

This was when Elka was probably four-ish months (still on her first collar!). Her right ear is kind of cocked, they don't normally look quite so different, but her left ear is a slightly different shape and height. I would of course have preferred them to both look the way the right ear does but...that's how it goes.

lol agree with iceman there lol but looking exeptionally great ! When I see an impressive crop I always ask who done it lol??

Don't get me wrong,i love long show crop, but i also believe the size and style of the crop must suit the individual dogs build.
Crop style is very nice and you have done a great job of keeping those ears up, BUT my personal opinion is that,
Considering the size of her head now and guessing what will be like when finished, her crop is too long!!

.........and they definately need a hair cut on the cropped edges!! :)

I am going to concur with Iceman on Medusa's crop... its too long for her small head and narrow head.
The vet has to be able to judge based on the bone structure and size of the puppy at the age cropped how that ear is going to fit that dog.
its a tough job which is why I would not want someone cropping my dogs ears who had not done it thousands of times before. (they have to start somewhere, but I dont ever want it to be me)....
She has a bat ear look now from the front and it takes away from her head instead of complimenting it.
There are repair surgeries that can be done to correct an ear that is too long, but you cannot make one longer...
She is a pretty girl, but with her very feminine features she has far too much ear... and she still has a long way to go in maturity, so she will look different at 2 than she does now, but based on how long they are now at this age, its clear that they are just too much for her...
nicely done, but too long and not a narrow enough tip at the top... not enough taper off...

:) well maybe...but for me its just fine...she has no problem with it...and I don't plan putting her own a show ring, she's my companion and my best friend :)..i love those ears...I will not have another repair surgery to be done with that, wont let her suffer the same agony again..I think once is enough...i love my baby no matter what...even if her ears were not cropped she will always remain pretty looking for me :) i will take your advice next time I own a another doberman :D thank you for sharing that knowledge and idea with me. I appreciate it.
