From the United Doberman Club Executive Summary email, I received yesterday.

AWDF
USCA is now a member of the AWDF. Effective immediately, the AWDF will accept all titles issued at USCA
trials and USCA scorebooks. USCA has agreed to issue scorebooks only to GSDs; other breeds with AWDF
breed clubs must get their scorebooks from their breed club to have the breed listed (this is AWDF policy).

This is good news for the GSD people. I have a number of GSD members in my club and it was bullshit that they would have to trial twice to get titles that would count for both organizations. I still don’t like the fact that USCA charges an additional $50 to trial at there events if you belong to a different breed club. No other organization does this to people that belong to their specific breed clubs. This is what started the split the first time in my opinion.

This was part of the statement from Anne Camper on the AWDF facebook page. Comments were turned off and she said to ask further questions to your club... I don't know if this just means for Championships or everything? Still questions in my mind.

What titles are accepted by AWDF member clubs and to enter the AWDF IGP Championship?

USCA trial results and titles after October 1, 2019 until December 6, 2022 cannot be accepted by other AWDF clubs or to enter the AWDF IGP Championship or to qualify for the FCI IGP FH team.

Titles earned at GSDCA trials are allowed. GSDCA has accepted USCA titles.

USCA has agreed to retroactively accept DVG titles.

I agree. Since my only choice is USCA trials in my area, I opted to join USCA for $100 /year, thinking I'd trial 2 x and that would be $100 they'd get anyway. They don't charge it because you belong to an different breed club, they charge it because you don't belong to THEIR club. 😡

As I posted in the other thread where @strykerdobe brought this up, I can't find an answer about this not accepting USCA titles to advance to the next trial. It clearly states as of yesterday that they can't be accepted to enter the Championship, but what about regular club trials?

I believe what you posted about the dates is correct. Still a :censored: mess :pullhair:

All about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

@strykerdobe did you get your IGP under a AWDF trial?

@Doberman Gang are all your titles with AWDF trials?

I guess I'm just back to square one of "who cares?". I'll just go do what I do, wherever I can, and never mind whether it's "recognized" by UDC or not.

Arson's Scorebook is from the UDC and its an AWDF book. We are also members of the USCA and our local club we belong to is a USCA Club. Which we titled his BH on 5/1/21 and IGP1 on 10/23/22 at our local club.
So now I think we are screwed also anyway.

So, we would have to spend about another $300 for both (BH and IGP1) to Title at UDC?

TOO :censored: confusing.

That's how I'm understanding it. I'm in the same boat, just a BH though. Stay with your club, have a good time, nothing to re-do. But if you want to go to any trial that's AWDF, DVG etc. you have to re-do the BH & 1, as they won't recognize those.

I *think* ( ) that if you go on & do your 2 with your local club it will show up since they are now recognized, you just can't trial for a 2 with AWDF, because they don't have the BH or 1 on record... But again, I'm not sure, it's just what I'm seeing/guessing. Nobody will write anything down in stone.
