We did have a bunch of snow and it's still snowing but O'hare is used to it and will be functional in about 8 hours.
My understanding was it wasn't ten the snoiw that closed it, but the fog. I just hope that the forecast doesn't change much foir next week.
If I could change anything, it would be the airport. I HATE O'Hare. We used to go to Chicago pretty often when the kids were home. We would fly there to watch Cards/Cubs or Blues/Blackhawks games, but never O'Hare. I only experienced O'Hare once on a lay over coming back from somewhere else. I told myself never again! Now I am telling myself only for Rumor.
Like they said on TWC yesterday "it's all relative" when they said it was bitter cold in the south but thought it would be beach weather for people in the north. We don't get the nasty hurricanes so the alternatives up here are snow, ice, bitter cold and tornadoes in the summer.
Me, I'll keep my little spot in fly over America. There is no perfect but I can live with cold and snow where things are more conservative, English is spoken and nobody cares if you put a nativity scene out at Christmas.

What's in Atlanta?

Come on, what kind of BS is that? Retailers get priority over my baby girl?
So this afternoon we are off to a 2yr. old b-day party.

Pretty tight schedule so NOTHING can go wrong.
And even if I didn't use it, it has crossed my lips a few times through this whole process.
