My Mom let sweet Zoey go on Friday. My sister had originally brought Zoey home but she eventually ended up at my Mom's house. She must have been older than 14 (maybe pushing 16?). I never lived at home with Zoey but she was always there and unproblematic; she just wanted her chuck-it and for you to share your popcorn.
Christmas Eve 2019: R-L = Bella, Cooper, Zoey (all three RIP), Rubie and Moose watching something out in my Mom's yard

Christmas 2018: Cooper and Zoey

Moose, Zoey, Cosmo, and Rubie with my Mom also in 2018

Summer 2018 with ALL the dogs

Christmas 2017, hiking with Rubie and Zoey:

Spring 2016: recognize that tiny terror?

Much more recent photo with her wisened face:

Did a little picture that I just sent out to my Mom

So many of the dogs we've loved in the past were no doubt were waiting for her

It sounds like she had a long happy life and I hope your Mom knows that she'll always be by her side.
