Newest addition, Sweet Remy ❤️

Hey guys! My dog Castiel is a new daddy! Him and my mom's dog, Abby, bred and had one puppy! I am keeping her. What's interesting isRemy has both female and male parts. She uses her female parts to urinate, and I'm thinking she may have been a boy that didn't form correctly? Either way, she has been seen by two different vets and she is completely healthy! Since she has something wrong with her, Abby had rejected her so we are having to bottle feed. She is already so loved.

Question: What color do you think she is going to be? I wanted yo initially say black but she has a lot of red tints in her!

Aww what a sweetheart!

You can usually tell by the nose if they're black or red but two different photos you posted look different.

At any rate, if they're black they'll have a black nose and reds will have a brownish nose.

How tiny and cute! I also think it's black, but I guess time will tell. How old is the baby? Maybe it's too young yet to tell what gender it is? Was it a premature birth?

Any plans to fix mom so this doesn't happen again? Especially with the genetic issues and not being a good mother, that won't get any better. Momma could certainly use a nail trim to make standing a lot easier on her feet. You can see she is standing very flat footed to avoid the pressure from her nails.

Glad puppy is able to urinate fine. Make sure you get her signed up for puppy classes asap since she is a singleton and rejected as she is probably missing out on a lot of doggy socializing from mom and littermates.

The baby is a week old today, and baby was right on time! She actually has a hole at both female and male part! Really interesting!

Momma was fixed during C-section! We were going to fix her after the pregnancy. We are getting her nails trimmed next Thursday. She is very hard trimming nails and we didn't want to stress her during the pregnancy. Definitely will get puppy classes for her after all her shots!
