Hope she can leave it be to heal fast!
If she tries to get at it with bandage on then I will put the lampshade back on her head.
I am headed down to the trail with rake, 5gallon bucket and backpack blower! We like to use that trail a lot for the pups to open up and run and play ball.
I think I will put out a few trail cams and then have a couple signs made up for each end of trail.

Warning
Trail Cameras in use
Anyone breaking glass or littering on this trail will have their picture posted on MCSO and USFW websites and Facebook.

That's a lot of water!! I'd gladly take some! ;) Although we finally got our share with this last rain. I'm not sure if it made up the deficit but it sure has helped!

It came down so hard and so fast that it barely soaked in. It was crazy. Wasn't even a very big storm but it rained insanely hard for about an hour. Then as quickly as it started, it stopped. I'm wondering if it was the same storm that flooded out a town in the UP. Fortunately, it was just a ton of rain. No major winds or anything. Town just got hit a few weeks back with a wicked storm. Ripped the upper porch roof right off my gpas store building and wrapped it over the main building roof. They haven't even finished fixing it yet (damaged the main roof and skylights as well).

Oh, yea oh, those are the ones that have been coming through here too. Although they missed us for the most part. :whoop: But they would pop up out of nowhere, rain like hell, and then it was done. No wind no storms, just knock down, pouring down rain. When we finally got our share, that's how it was for us too. It just never got enough to really flood anything.

Here's our Corral this morning. All that rain just do the small flooded area in the far back corner. But it's already dried up pretty much. I'm actually going to drag it this afternoon. I'm sure it will be a little muddy in that spot but it'll be fine.

She looks young. Did she have a litter just before you got her?

We got Tara from the rescue when she was 4 years old. At that time her 3 daughters (all re-homed in the UK) were 2 and a half. The greeder bred her in Romania before Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe got her out alongside her daughters. With the saddest heart I can tell you that the ‘greeder’ bludgeoned to death the sire of the pups.
All was witnessed by Tara and her girls :(

Here are all 3 of Tara’s pups in Romania before they were brought over.

Took these puppies to Norris's sister's house and to a pool! Rubie isn't a fan of her feet not touching but it was good to get Moose in there and understanding water. No pictures of them in the water because that would've been cell.phone suicide.

I need an ANGRY button.

The other day I was driving home from work and saw a storm in the distance which is normal. Well I get onto my street and it looked like a small tornado came through! Mind you it was sunny with zero hint of any rain but everything was still dripping and steam rising off the pavement. Tree debris EVERYWHERE. Large trees snapped, limbs, leaves and all. A tree fell across my neighbors driveway and my boyfriend cut it up with the chain saw and removed it for her. I "almost" left my parrot outside that day but decided against it as I'm not comfortable leaving him alone. Thank goodness!

Went to our "beach" spot and this one little blue butterfly insisted on perching on top of the dogs heads for a majority of the stay. Not sure why, but it was cute. I also got to see my first salamander which was maybe two inches long, also cute.

@Regalis ... is your name after a tarantula? I clicked on an ad for tarantulas and saw regalis and it clicked for me LOL. I am definitely NOT in the market for one but I try to take baby steps coping with my fears by just looking at them.

Wow! There have been so many of these pop up storms lately that have been strong and go through fast! It also could have created a microburst? Or "just" a storm that went through with straight line winds. They can take down a lot! I'm glad you left your parrot inside! I would never do that when you are not home anyway. There are more things that can do harm than a storm. :wideyed:

I love the butterfly visit!! Great photos!

Um, no. I don't have to cope with that one! :bag:

Tip toeing away....
