It's a good thing you've got the wrapping bit all figured out. Poor thing. That looked scary with the blood. Hope it heals quick!
I noticed glass on a city hike trail as well. It was at 3 entirely different points on the route. Why smash it? If you can't throw it away leave it there whole. Someone is bound to collect it. Ppl can be such idiots.
I am a master bandage wrapper.
I always get stuck doing all the bandaging at work. I keep a ton of bandage supplies at home just in case. You never know when it’s going to be needed.
I am going to have to order a couple sets of boots for these pups. My last dobe Gracie wore them when we went hiking because of careless stupid people!!
She got 3 of her paws sliced at the same time. It was a mess.

I often feel like I'm pushing my luck with K. His paw pads endure such cold weather, then trails, and all the other surfaces. So many boot options, such big paws, I worry about him tearing something in the knees if the boots don't fit just right and then I want to put socks on him but ya, socks and Dobes are not a good combo either!I am a master bandage wrapper.

I had to wrap Gracie’s ankles with one round of vet wrap when I put her boots on because they would rub and cause abraded skin. It is hard to find the correct size. I went through several before I finally found the ones to fit her.

Tara is such a jewel and I have a sense that your husband is totally over the moon with her.
And she has blossomed under your care! Wasn't she afraid of men in the beginning?
Lol my dogs eat a raw diet and rabbit fur and all is one of their favorite foods. I won’t let the girls around the little dude yet but I got him a week ago. Ares has shown some interest but he has been very respectful, of course with direction and strict supervision. I got him cuz I really wanted a small animal and I love rabbits but haven’t had one in awhile. His name is Vader and he’s a 4 month old holland Lop
He loves her sooooo much. It’s a beautiful bond that they share
She’s still cautious around strange men but her Daddy is her whole world.
She’ll follow him EVERYWHERE!!

Thankfully we don't have to worry much about broken glass here, unless someone has trespassed and tossed a bottle.
I have dropped a few light bulbs on our concrete floor downstairs so I sweep and vacuum until the cows come home, then scrub it well too since that's such fine glass.

We got a wee bit of rain ...
Mind you, our driveway has a very steep incline after the sidewalk going out to the street. Like, cars bottom out steep if they don't hit it an an angle .... the water was actually up to the sidewalk at one point but I got distracted trying to help a guy who's bike stalled out up onto the sidewalk before he got run over because people are driving like morons.

We are still waiting for the official times and placements but Andrew reckons she was running and pulling him at about 6.40 minutes per mile, average.
I missed the Canicross race as the youngsters had a fun run at the same time so I was overlooking Bailey as the majority of his race is on the road.
