This little bone toy was part of the first set of dog toys that I ever bought for little Wisey. It was a 4-pack of Petstages brand toys from Costco online. He never cared for it as a puppy (probably too heavy). Appropriate chewing. Self entertaining while in his place. This deserved a cheese reward! image.jpeg

Happy new year everyone! I have a question for those in colder climates, where do you buy dobe approved sweaters? It has been quite chilly here with lows in the teens and highs barely above freezing, which isn't as bad as other places but we are from Florida and I've noticed my poor boy shivering at times.

We just bought one from Bandanas to the Rescue on Etsy (the rainbow plaid one that's shown up in a few pictures). She sends a few dollars of every purchase to her selected rescue of the month, which I like, and it is really well made (she makes them all herself).

I've also bought the fleece from Chilly Dogs. It was for my last boy so way to big for Rubie so I just gave it to a friend but it fits those with tiny waist and bit chest problems very well. Much more expensive, though.

Hurtta is supposed to be awesome but maaaaybe too much for your needs?

Happy new year to you too! I got mine from Pet Smart! It is rare to find anything proper fitting for dogs this size from the Pet Smarts around here, but I was desperate last year as I knew we'd have a cold snap and I had to get Kaiser something quick. It was a Martha Stewart brand owl sweater for less than $20. Here is a picture overly brightened so you can see how it fits his chest. Last year it was too big, now it's perfect. He tolerates it better than a jacket as he will even wear this sweater in the house all day.
