I’m so sorry Amanda, I’ve just seen this message.
The simple answer is yes
apparently it’s a ‘hideous procedure’ and the pain and suffering it causes blah, blah bloody blah. I don’t know if you follow me on Tiktok but I post lots of videos/photos of Tara on my work account. The majority of my followers are from outside of the UK (people with cropped Dobies) and the love she receives is immense. As yet, to my knowledge, I’ve not received any negative comments. But tbf, it’s early days. I’ve not had the account long.

No clue how, but it ended up hurting worse and worse and worse. Coming up this Mother's Day it will be 2 years ago that it finally "gave out." Got out of bed and fell on the floor. Couldn't put any weight on it. Long story short I got a shot of cortisone and it's been 2 years since I got on a horse! I'm excited to be back! Even at my age!

The first photo is a typical, "on guard," pose! Hackles up, back legs spread, tail straight up! Even the mouth open just a slight bit ready for anything! I remember that pose!

That first pic is just WOW. The way the light partially hits both their faces and for a second you're not sure how many Dobermans just opened that door LOL.
