Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2023

@DracoDobie , I would trade you but I asked my Bernese and he said no. Had he said okay, I would still feel like I would owe you something. My ma lives is SE Pennsylvania and she hasn't had any snow this year either, and has seen daffodil buds already.

@JanS , we have been snowed on here for the entirety of the day. Luckily, for the daytime snowfall it hasn't been cold enough to do anything other than hit the roads then melt. That's changing now as the sun ducks out.

She went in that room and barked a few times to get her sisters attention -

Just to let her know that she was not 'allowed' to come in that particular room. :)

How these two became BFFs I have no clue. I do know that it happened the very second that white dog was led inside the house and introduced to the Dobergirls. Dystopia instantly pegged this girl as her new buddy. :)

He got tired waiting on me to finish making his posts 😆 not like I took longer than 10 minutes

When you are so tired you fall asleep sitting up.

this is Katyusha with hee very best friend from our local dog park. I wouldn't have necessarily seen this friendship coming, but, here they are! The aussie is a 98 pound girl named Finley. They burn off lots of steam together.

I DO like our local dog park for that same reason.

Mine usually come home dead tired after just a few hours of playtime there. Burning calories is a good thing! :)

Don't have a picture handy or would share it but right outside of the one we go to they have a little concrete slab with a short length of hose attached to a pedestal. A 'dog wash up' station I guess you would call it? Granted that not much will stick to a Doberman but it IS nice to have a place to clean them up 'if needed' before loading back up in the truck to go home. :)

White dog and Dystopias favorite game is 'body slam'. :) Even though White dog is only half the weight she can (and will) dish it out just as good as she can take it!

Didn't capture it in the video but yes, She landed pretty much smack dab on Dystopias face and back! :) Poor Dystopia was not expecting a face full of White dog raining down on her from above but that is what she got!!! :)

Please wish us luck! Tomorrow at 1:30 CDT Katyusha and I will evaluate for Canine Good Citizen. We have been working hard on it. Her littermate will evaluate with her. Confidence is high but one never knows...

Thanks! Same cropping vet as the one that did my Ripley's and @JanS 's Elroy's ears

I get the fact that the posting and after crop 'work' that the owner puts in is very, very important to the end results but still - You got to start with an experienced Vet doing the actual crop.

You are fortunate to have such a Vet. :)

Used a 'new to me at the time' Vet for the cropping on my current girls and I swear she must have went outside for a few bong hits between girls because they are definitely NOT cut the same way. :(

Definitely learned myself a hard lesson about asking to see some of their previous work and asking about their experience before choosing them for any cropping work. :(

Awesome! :)

(got to go search now for a thread with pictures of both of them together) :)

Betting you will nail it with ease if you have already been working with littermates. Distractions are not going to be on your radar!
